WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 29 September, 2014

The Allstate Arena in Chicago would be blessed (or cursed) with the presence of WWE’s weekly flagship show, Monday night Raw this week. The company didn’t have a particularly good week last time around as they botched Night of Champions and everything that followed. There isn’t much to show for the company apart from an exciting Dean Ambrose as all the other storylines fell flat.A lot of work is to be done before they gear up for yet another pay-per-view outing at Hell in a Cell and this week’s Raw will be another crucial step, so here is a look at what all the WWE Universe could expect from this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

#5 Its CM Punks backyard

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

In case you didn’t already notice in the introduction, this week’s Raw will be held in Chicago, CM Punk’s hometown.

Ever since Punk walked out after Royal Rumble, the city has been nothing less that hostile to the WWE whenever they came in to pull off a credible show.

Things might’ve changed a bit since most of the fans realized Punk was the real villain here for turning his back on the fans but still, Chicago is one of the most unpredictable cities to hold an event in.

With the creative going through such a depleted run, having a uncontrollable crowd would be the last thing they will want on this week’s Raw.

#4 Fresh blood and old feud

The WWE Divas division is apparently split into two with AJ Lee and Paige working it out for the Divas title in one side along with the support from Bellas while on the other side, WWE is giving some space for the Total Divas cast.

The one involving AJ and Paige is far better than everything else in the division and no one can blame WWE if they go for another match between the two.

However, external factors should be taken into considerations since names like Natalya deserves to be in the title picture.

It would be interesting to see how WWE interweaves the two storyline since it will be best for business to introduce some fresh blood between AJ Lee and Paige.

#3 Cesaro getting another title feud?

Having a lot of superstars being out due to injury is working wonders for the Swiss Superman as he is among the handful of wrestlers that WWE could count on.

The match that he had with Sheamus at Night of Champions was pure bliss and seeing how successful Cesaro can be in the midcard title scenario, the company decided to give him a shot at the Intercontinental championship.

Ziggler and Cesaro are two of the most impressive in ring workers in the roster at the moment and they are sure to deliver some good matches.

WWE might be looking to push forward this idea this week on Raw after what went down at SmackDown which will be welcomed by the Cesaro fans.

#2 Lesnars future

The worst nightmares of the WWE fans are coming true as their WWE champion is only making appearances like the rain comes in a dessert.

This is working against the company who is having trouble booking a continuous storyline for the Beast and with the lack of main event talent in the roster right now, Lesnar not making continuous appearances adds more headache.

There are also rumors about him skipping the Hell in a Cell which will be a killer punch to the WWE. If so, the best decision would be to take the title away from Lesnar.

Another absence will make the fans frown for sure and make WWE review their ideas for the one in twenty one and one.

#1 Fight to get hands on Rollins

Rollins did two things he shouldn’t have done. He first made the Shield explode by aligning with the Authority and then screwed up John Cena’s chances of winning the WWE championship.

The former earned him the wrath of his former friend Dean Ambrose while the latter has made him a walking target for Cena.

With two men eager to get their hands on the architect, things will soon get out of hands. There will be a certain amount of friction between Cena and Ambrose as the two has problems trusting eachother.

Hunter will do everything in his power to protect his priced asset as well making it an all-out war between the Authority and the rebels.
