Let's go Roman vs. Roman SucksThe beauty of a simple narration was what made the previous episode of Monday Night Raw successful.WWE laid out a tournament to determine the Number one contender, and all of a sudden, there was a purpose in watching the show. We wanted to know which all superstars were going to get the rub, we wanted to know which superstar would win it, and we wanted to know how Seth Rollins would react. It was a story that lasted the whole three hours and this is how WWE should book all their Monday Night Raw episodes. The tone is now set for Survivor Series. There are stories worth following and after last week, the fans will be expecting something similar this time around on Raw. Can WWE deliver it or not will be the major talking point this week. However, we can only find that out once the show ends. For now, here are the possible storylines that WWE might develop on Monday Night.
#5 Showoff in Cuteville
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Tyler Breeze is a talented performer, period. He was trained by none other than Lance Storm and throughout his time in NXT, he has shown in brilliance as a wrestler.
This is probably what earned him a spot in the main roster. Breeze is being paired up with Summer Rae at the moment and he is on a collision course with Dolph Ziggler. Now, the end effect of the feud will be perfect.
Ziggler and Breeze are excellent performers and the match will be a standout one. Ziggler will put over Breeze as well so as we said earlier, the overall effect would be perfect.
However, the road till then is something WWE should take care off. The over the top antics of Breeze might take away from the seriousness off his character – something that WWE needs to address on Raw.
#4 Bad Girl Paige
Paige pulled off a perfect heel turn last week on Raw when she backstabbed Becky Lynch and Charlotte.
The Pipe bomb she dropped few weeks back was just a teaser, but the segment that happened on Raw was the real deal. Paige made her intentions to be on the dark side, and now, she wants a go at the Divas championship of Charlotte. If we keep away all the other divas and just concentrate on PCB, it’s a great storyline.
Charlotte is the champion, Paige is the challenger and as a subplot, there is the personal friction that these two have. Becky is the potential surprise element that could turn the story upside down at any moment. It’s a well-placed story and the only thing WWE should do is keep the others out of it.
#3 Tag team turmoil
The tag team division of WWE is flourishing at the moment. New Day is on top of their game and is arguably the best characters on WWE television right now.
Along with them, there are the Dudley Boyz, Prime Time Players, Lucha Dragons, and the newly formed team of Sheamus and Barrett. There are rumors of the Los Matadores getting repackaged and the Usos returning as well.
So in short, these are good days for tag team wrestling. But what is the plan that WWE has for these teams? Almost all teams deserve a shot at the title and if it is not the title, then we might get a traditional Survivor Series match from the tag division.
#2 Facing the new face of fear
Bray Wyatt calls himself the new face of fear. With three strong men by his side, he has the ammunition to make his claim credible.
Wyatt and his family took out Undertaker at Hell in a Cell and just 24 hours later; he took out Taker’s brother as well. Bray has made his intentions clear; now it is time for Taker to level the playing field. Letting Taker make a move will help WWE to make it a balanced feud rather than making it a one-sided affair.
The fans are curious about whom Undertaker’s partners are going to be and if WWE gives some kind of a teaser this week, then it would be enough to keep the fans busy till the next week.
#1 He has the shot, what next
Roman Reigns defied all odds and got his shot against Seth Rollins.
Reigns now has the chance to be the new WWE champion, but it is easier said than done. WWE is yet to make the match official for Survivor Series and this might be because of an underlying twist in the tale.
Reigns was seen locking horns with Kevin Owens throughout last week so if we read between the lines, Owens might get a push into the title scene just to make matters more interesting.
Dean Ambrose, on the other hand, is another factor worth remembering. He has no feud whatsoever right now and will play a big role in the Reigns vs. Rollins showdown that will probably build up to Survivor Series.
