After failing to find their place in two consecutive pay-per-views, the Usos are finally getting a shout at Money in the bank where they will face the Wyatt Family. It’s a match that has been built up through months and the tag titles raises the stakes further. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper getting a separate entrance theme may suggest that the team is here to stay without Bray Wyatt which makes the match more intrigue. So far, the possible endings for the two ladder matches has been covered, so here is a look at the three possible endings for the Tag Team championship match between Usos and Wyatt Family.
#3 Champions survive
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
The Usos won the Tag Team titles right before WrestleMania which is one decision that is still under the scanner. After winning the title, Usos hasn’t been playing the role of perfect champions as the division has fallen apart.
However, Usos still remain as the best option for carrying the title around. Usos are a team around which the company could build up their division and the brothers deserve to have a good run rather than the stale one now.
A good long feud with Wyatt Family could get the job done and first step for that should be retaining the title against their foes. The two teams can go on a multi-pay-per-view feud with Usos hanging onto the title giving them the run they deserve.
Having a face champion could set the stage well if the company wants to group up a heel team with the unused midcarders that they have now.
#2 New kids in town
The lack of tag teams has been a haunting problem for the WWE when they are booking the division. Apart from Usos and the Wyatt Family there aren’t many teams that the creative team could bank on at the moment.
However, one path which the company is yet to explore is to bring in the Ascension which has been stuck in the NXT without some credible opponents.
Ascension making a debut at Money in the Bank and disrupting the match between Usos and Wyatt Family could give the company a three way feud for the tag titles that they could present at SummerSlam.
Back in the Attitude Era, it was a three way tag team match which set the bar for Tag team divisions and the company could just replicate that if they pull off this angle correctly.
#1 Reign of the Wyatts
The Wyatt family this far has been a team which didn’t care much about titles or gold. But recent happenings suggest that the company is steering them in a different path.
Getting the tag titles will be a big boost both for the Wyatt Family and the division. The Usos has been stale for some time and the creative thing could freshen up by handing over the title to a more captivating Wyatt Family.
At the same time, it also opens up the possibility of Bray Wyatt getting jealous of his companions as the recent booking have shown that Bray barely survives without his bodyguards.
Bray could stand alone after this feud while Harper and Rowan can go down as a full time tag team rather than getting overshadowed by Bray.
