NXT 11th November 2015 - 5 Points to note

The monster is unleashed

And the battle lines have been drawnNew Champions were crowned and a championship match was set for next week’s main event. At NXT, championships actually matter. Samoa Joe's quest for it just proves that statement. At NXT, the history of all its championships means something. Be it the men's titles or the women’s title; all of them have a rich history to fall back on.The storyline and character developments are something to behold. Champions almost always look strong. This week saw new possibilities coming to the fore and they surely look interesting on most levels – something worth waiting for next week. Here are the 5 points to note from this weeks episode of NXT

#1 Done waiting

The monster is unleashed

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Samoa Joe had a simple yet significant heel turn which was a long time coming, that was expected of the Samoan Submission machine.

He’s done waiting for Finn Balor to provide him with a championship match. Joe spoke about how he deserves the title shot simply because of who he is. He’s done so much in his wrestling career that it’s impossible to think how he’s not qualified already to get a title shot.

This week he had a brawl with Balor and came out looking like a monster. During KO’s absence, Joe is the best bet for a monster heel in NXT. What’s great is that he’s a great promo worker as well.

#2 Continuing the feud

Corbin and Crews have kickstarted their feud

Baron Corbin made his way to the ring to face Tye Dillinger. Corbin was booed while the audience seemed to quite enjoy the presence of ‘The Perfect 10’.

But the match never started because Apollo Crews was in no mood to let Corbin even breathe. Crews attacked the ‘Lone Wolf’ who was solely responsible for Crews not getting a break and capturing the NXT title.

Crews and Corbin are two of the most protected performers in NXT and this will be a good way for both of them to grow into future main event players in NXT.

#3 New champs

Aiden English seething in pain before losing the tag titles

Dash and Dawson, who have been riding on a surge of momentum since the past few weeks provided one of the biggest news breaks coming out of NXT this week.

They beat the Vaudevillains to become the new tag team champions. They’ve relished in crippling tag teams and rendering them incomplete. They injured Big Cass and this week it seems they injured Aiden English.

They’ve not only won the titles, but their biggest competitors can’t even face them soon as one-half of their team is injured. Dawson and Dash have made themselves, for the time being, invincible assets.

#4 The interaction

Eva Marie might have an ally soon

So, Bliss nonchalantly took the title away from Bayley and began posing backstage with it. Meanwhile, Nia Jax was asked to step aside for a talk with resident NXT evil Eva Marie.

The content of this interaction is unknown. So, when Bayley went to take her title away from Bliss and was counter-attacked by Bliss, Jax came for the save and while seemingly interested in the title, gave Bayley what rightfully belongs to her.

These couple of interactions are not only signalling an Eva Marie- Nia Jax partnership, it’s also inching towards the possibility of Marie coming closer to her goal of becoming the champion.

Either that or this is the beginning of ‘The New NXT 4’ with Bliss, Bayley, Marie and Jax.

#5 Next week\'s main event

Next Week they will face each other in the main event

There is no babyface in NXT right now at par with Bayley. She’s utter babyface perfection.

This week she teamed up with the Hype Bros Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley and while Rawley seems unbearable most of the times, Bayley made this team look uber over and their moves uber cool in the process.

Alexa Bliss, on the other hand, is one of the best heels in NXT right now. She definitely shows shades of Trish Stratus when she was with T n A, but the only difference being that Alexa is a much better wrestler than Stratus was during her initial days as a heel.

So next week, Bliss gets some major spotlight as she faces Bayley in the main event for the title The Hugger holds.
