NXT 2nd September 2015- 5 Points to Note

Alexa Bliss is one of the best reasons to watch NXTNXT has now began a ‘Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic’. That was the major news coming out of Full Sail this week. This was a fresh start for NXT after some of their MVPs have made their transition to the main roster.And what better way to start afresh than the ‘Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic’?! Even with two average NXT womens matches, it was way better than what is happening on the main roster right now with the divas. Yes, a struggling Eva Marie and an NXt without Bayley is still far better than Nikki Bella’s ongoing titile reign.Here are the 5 points to note from this week-

#1 Can\'t catch a break

Crowe needs something that can make him interestin

Neville returned to the Full Sail Arena and was greeted with the presence of Solomon Crowe who happened to be his tag team partner for later on in the episode. The thing is that Crowe has been one of those characters that needs some major work and he was exhibiting some behaviour that confused Neville. Also, it may have been a set up for his sister to debut.

If you’ve been following the latest WWE news then Zahra Schreiber was supposed to essay that role.That won’t be happening since she’s been fired over some derogatory statements she made on her Instagram.

That either leaves Solomon without a sister or maybe she’ll be replaced.

But anyway, Crowe hasn’t been able to catch a break.

#2 The Heel

Alexa Bliss was one of the highlights of this episode

Alexa Bliss has found her breakthrough role. She just needs a breakthrough moment. She works so well as a heel and this week she garnered a victory against Blue Pants. While Lynch, Charlotte and Banks are out on the main roster, the womens division is right now looking for more all round performers. It sure does have the talent but right now in a division being led by Bayley, there needs to be some more competition stepping up.

Alexa Bliss seems like the perfect performer to step up.

#3 All Red Campaign

How long will this streak of red continue?

Speaking of contenders for the NXT Women’s Championship, Eva Marie is definitely being touted as one. She’s the one who seems like the perfect successor to having a Trish Stratus-esque journey. But the truth is, even after months of training with Brian Kendrick, she still has a lot to improve upon. She lacks basic in- ring psychology. That isn’t something that you can mug up.

And though she gets a lot of heat, she’s still far away from being a credible contender to a title opportunity.

#4 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

It’s quite great that NXT is still in the process of remembering the late great Dusty Rhodes. They’ve now begun a tag team tournament with his name on it. And this doesn’t really seem like the tournament for who’s going to win the tag titles but with teams like Finn Balor and Samoa Joe, Neville and Solomon Crowe,it just all looks like great moments for really good wrestling matches.

That’s a great piece of pro- wrestling moments.

#5 NXT Vs Main Roster

The Ascension returns to NXT

The Ascension had a homecoming to NXT this week and the response they recieved was testament enough of how poorly they’ve been booked so far on the main roster. It was symbolic of how different the world of developmental is to the mainstream WWE arenas.

They played babyface this time and it all worked so well for the heel team of The Lone Wolf and the Man Beast.
