It will be time for Payback for the WWE superstars at Chicago when WWEs next pay-per-view looks to add fuel to the already fuming feuds which are taking place around the roster.The Bray Wyatt- John Cena and Evolution-Shield match will be under the spotlight without any doubt as those were the top storylines that were heavily endorsed by WWE while the other merely had a credible buildup.But with the pay-per-views, we never know what the company could have in store for us behind the curtains. Apart from the excellent in ring action that is going to be offered to us, we could also be braced with some great twists and turns that could set up a future narrative.So here is a look at some of the twists that could take place at Payback.

#5 The El Torito-Hornswoggle match being entertaining

Torito and Hornswoggle simply raised everyones eyebrows at Extreme Rules when they fought out a very entertaining match at Extreme Rules.

The reason why it was a big hit was because of the small props that they had at their disposal and the spots that their teammates pulled off. However, this time its going to be just a plain singles match that has some stakes.

Its hard to imagine how the match would end up but if everything turns out to be good we could expect a big twist and might have a good match at our hands.

This however is just a small possibilities and hopefully this will be the last chapter of the multi pay-per-view high profile feud that Hornswoggle and El Torito has been going through.

#4 Superstar returns

It has been repeated for a long time now that CM Punk might return at Payback. So this time let’s downplay the possibility a bit just to avoid being getting carried away. However, if Punk returns, it’s surely going to make Chicago break the walls.

Speaking of breaking the walls, another name that has been linked with a return is none other than Chris Jericho. He might not be as big as Punk, but Jericho could silence a majority of the crowd.

Last but definetly not the least; another possible return that could go down in Chicago is the return of AJ Lee. Though WWE managed to revamp Alicia Fox as a credible opponent for Paige, the feud between AJ Lee and Paige will be on a different level.

#3 John Cena getting more heat without turning heel

Cena already has a lot of heat on him from the crowd at the moment but at Payback things could just go out of limits.

The Chicago fans never liked him in the first place and he is going to be welcomed with jeers when his music hits. And once the match starts, Bray will be more popular with the fans and Cena will be projected as the bad guy.

But the most important nail in Cena’s face run could come if he defeats Bray Wyatt. The Internet Wrestling Community is just going to erupt if Cena doesn’t put Bray over at Payback and same goes for the fans in Chicago.

Cena would again be under the spotlight of ruining a youngster’s momentum which is not something he would want.

#2 Vince McMahon coming to the aid of Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan was given an ultimatum by Stephanie McMahon on Raw this week that if he doesn’t vacate his title at Payback, he could see Brie getting fired from the company.

Now Bryan on the other hand said that his neck injury is worse than what he thought which sounded legitimate. WWE pushing the impending surrender to the pay-per-view suggests that they have some big plans that can’t be executed on Raw.

Bryan might say that he is fit to compete but the most likely way in which he could keep the title with him is by the return on Vince McMahon. Though he has been absent for a long time now, Vince is still a powerful figure in the WWE who could just strike up an excellent feud with his daughter.

So if Bryan finds his new savior in form of Vince McMahon at Payback, then it is going to be something which will give a long storyline.

#1 Members of Shield Turning on Roman Reigns

The splitting up of the Shield hasn’t been on the mind of the WWE fans for ages now as they are interested in seeing the Hounds of justice fight it out with Evolution.

However, it will be a classic WWE move of getting us when we least expect if they decides to make this happen. Over the years, the elimination matches have been a place where we’ve seen many swerves as well which suggest small possibilities.

Since the plans for Roman Reigns are also on a high and Batista is departing for the promotion of his film project, the authority could strengthen with Dean Ambrose on their side. Rollins could do as well but he still deserves a face run for the moment while Ambrose is a natural heel.

It’s going to be a great angle leading up to SummerSlam if it happens and WWE could get Reigns out of this as a big star.
