Another step towards WrestleMania kept brilliantly by the WWE, this week provided some great additions to the legendary pay-per-views match card.Hulk Hogan and Undertaker returned to television as part of the attempt to get the rating back and both made big impacts on the course. Paul Heyman shined with the mic as usual while Daniel Bryan got what he wanted as Triple H was left furious with the flying goat.John Cena drew the battle lines with Bray Wyatt after hitting the limit. Real Americans also gave some talking points from the week when surprisingly the Shield disappointed. With so much activity going around the roster, the weekly Power Rank List published by the WWE.com and the also so many changes. So lets take a look at which all superstars had a great week and which all didnt.
#25 Emma (Previous Rank- 24)
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Emmalution had an inactive week this time around and as a result has dropped down one spot in the rankings. However, she is fortunate enough to stay in the rankings which are a luxury that many of the other superstars didn’t have.
#24 Titus ONeil (Previous Rank-23)
The relevance of Titus O’Neil after that win in Elimination Chamber is clearly on a down ward spiral and it was added by a week on inactivity this time. But he might head into WrestleMania thanks to the newly added 30 man battle royal which is a positive sign.
#23 Rybaxel (Previous Rank-22)
Ryback and Curtis Axel found their place in the battle royal at WrestleMania but their road to the PPV still remains miserable. The second consecutive week without any wins costs them another spot in the rankings and the tag team seems to be heading out of the list sooner than expected.
#22 The Miz (Previous Rank- 21)
The Awesome one is spending more time in social media than getting into the squared circle and it is not doing him any good other than getting some new followers. WWE has to do something spectacular to get him back to relevance as he drops another spot.
#21 Nikki Bella (Previous Rank-Nil)
Nikki is getting a renewed push thanks to the latest season of Total Divas which saw her take consecutive wins over the week. As the Total Diva season progresses Nikki is likely to get more wins to aid her on screen persona and storylines.
#20 Christian (Previous Rank- 19)
Christian had a week worth remembering as he took a beating at the hands of Sheamus in the Memphis street fight. Another loss to the Celtic Warrior does no good for Captain Charisma as he drops one spot and sits on the rim of top 20.
#19 Dolph Ziggler (Previous Rank- 20)
Swapping places with Christian is Dolph Ziggler who had a great week. Ziggler picked up wins against Alberto Del Rio and Fandango and this helps him to jump one place. The Show Off will be looking to carry this momentum further as he sets his sight at WrestleMania.
#18 The Real Americans (Previous rank- 16)
The friction between Jack Swagger and Cesaro is rising as both men cost eachother matches. Zeb Colter will be having a tough time keeping them together for long. An eventual split looks eminent at the moment and it’s only a matter of when now.
#17 Rhodes Brothers (Previous Rank- 18)
The former tag team champions had a balanced week after splitting a win and a loss. A great show in Raw despite the loss helps the Rhodes Brothers to jump up one spot and overshadow the final outcome. After all the loss came against Shield which is nothing to be unhappy about.
#16 Brie Bella (Previous Rank-17)
Like her twin sister, Brie also is benefiting because of the new Total Diva season. Brie got a great tag win this week and sees herself rise one spot in the rankings as everyone waits eagerly for the latest season starting on Sunday.
#15 The New Age Outlaws (Previous Rank- 13)
The Degenerates from the Attitude Era doesn’t seem to be in a rush to cash in the rematch clause for the tag team titles. Billy Gunn and Rodd Dogg took another week off this time and WrestleMania might be the place where they finally get in the mix.
#14 AJ Lee (Previous Rank- 15)
Longest reigning Divas Champion also holds to her spot of the highest ranked diva in the rankings despite having a tag loss against the Bellas. Not being in the Total Divas might work against AJ but she has a good start to things with a one place rise.
#13 Alberto Del Rio (Previous Rank- 14)
Del Rio picked up a loss against Dolph Ziggler but managed to cover it up with a win over Sin Cara at Superstars. And that win helps the Mexican to climb one more spot. However, the lack of any storyline pushes Del Rio into the wandering mid carder list with WrestleMania approaching fast.
#12 Big Show (Previous Rank-12)
A visit to India seems to have worked the charm for Big Show as he is undefeated after his trip. Two big wins this week also helps Big Show to sit pretty ahead of WrestleMania. though Daniel Bryan stole the limelight at Raw, the SmackDown win came well for Show but it was not enough for him to crack the top ten.
#11 Sheamus (Previous Rank- 11)
The Celtic Warrior got another win against Christian this week in their Memphis Street Fight. Things have been going well for Sheamus so far after his return and he is clearly looking to get into that coveted top ten place by picking up wins on the road.
#10 Brock Lesnar (Previous Rank- 9)
Lesnar left all the talking to his manager this week as Heyman did a great work in building up the feud between Taker and his client. Being absent for another week costs Lesnar one spot in the rankings leaving him in the danger of being knocked out of the top ten.
#9 The Undertaker (Previous Rank- 10)
Taker came back to Raw after a one week absence only to be interrupted by Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman. Keeping silence for most of the time, the Phenom finally spoke in riddle and gave his trade mark one liner before going back.
His presence itself was something to cheer about and apparently the WWE fans have to settle for that for the time being.
#8 The Shield (Previous Rank- 8)
A week in the limbo for the Shield as the trio wasn’t showing any signs of a split up. From the looks of it the plans of splitting up the Shield might’ve changed and their friction with Kane suggest the same.
Apart from that, it was a week full of win for the Hounds of Justice. But what the fans really want would be some storyline to back up this extraordinary talent and Kane doesn’t seem like the right direction after all.
#7 Big E (Previous Rank-7)
Big E got a momentum boost this week after picking up two impressive wins over Fandango and Jack Swagger. The win against Swagger came in some tainted fashion but a win counts as a win at the end of the day and Big E holds on to his 7th spot thanks to the couple of wins.
#6 Batista (Previous Rank- 5)
The Animal drops out of the top five thanks to a tag team loss against Daniel Bryan and Big Show on Raw. Batista seemed furious with the potential addition of Bryan into the WrestleMania main event which added further disappointment to already stale week for the Animal.
#5 John Cena (Previous Rank- 6)
The Cenation leader had a moment of the Eras with Hulk Hogan in the ring and got his challenge accepted by Bray Wyatt. He then went on to get a cheeky win over Erick Rowan though the match was below par.
War of words that the fans got to see this week only seems to be the beginning of the exciting feud between Bray and Cena as both superstars set their sights on the limelight.
#4 The Usos (Previous Rank- 4)
Usos is having busy schedules after winning the title as every tag team in the division wants a piece of the newly crowned champions. Dispatching Rybaxel this week on Raw helps Rikishi’s sons to hang on to their 4th spot.
But having eyes on their back would be a food idea for now since everyone including the New Age Outlaws are looking to cash in on the opportunity.
#3 Randy Orton (Previous Rank- 2)
The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion too another fall this week as he ended up on the losing side of a tag team match on Raw.
He seems to be on another low momentum buildup for a big match and last time it happened he walked out of Elimination Chamber with the title fighting off five other men. However, if the company is planning to do the same at WrestleMania, similar sights of fans taking over could be expected again.
#2 Wyatt Family (Previous Rank-1)
Erick Rowan got a bump against John Cena on Raw but Bray Wyatt compensated for it with a squash win over Kofi Kingston on SmackDown.
The ability of Bray Wyatt to overshadow the presence of Hulk Hogan and John Cena at the same time was something worth remembering. It might be a good time to follow the buzzards after seeing that coz clearly Bray is a legend in the making.
#1 Daniel Bryan (Previous Rank- 3)
The underdog showcased one of the best moments of PG Era when he stacked the ring with the fans. His yes movement finally gave him what he wanted as Bryan now has a date with Triple H against WrestleMania with a potential of headlining the same.
Tag team win over Batista and Randy Orton on Raw also made it Bryan’s week and he is all set to steal WrestleMania after literally hijacking Raw.
