WWE RAW 12th October 2015 - 3 things that worked

Another great week for Cena.

It’s over! Not many things really worked out for this show, except the fact that Cena walked out to issue a fresh new challenge for his US title. But there were little moments here and there that can be called well-booked. But there was much to be done on this week’s Raw. It could have been much, much better. It had its entertaining moments but when Kane takes control of most of the show and we’re supposed to get interested about his feud with Rollins, you know this isn’t the best show for you.But there were few moments that worked. We list out the top 3 -

#3 The Challenge

Another great week for Cena.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

This had to make the list. The US Title Open Challenge is a constant reminder of what’s great about pro wrestling, and how great a simple idea can be. This is the one entity that’s made Cena tolerable with the hardcore audience, so much so that nobody else at this point seems more worthy of being a US Champion. It’ll be a huge void to fill when he’s off with his scheduled time off.

This week, Dolph Ziggler walked out to deliver another great match with Cena. It was everything that one could expect this match to be.

#2 Team or not

Not a team yet.

Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton aren’t the best of friends like Reigns and Ambrose. Nobody really expects that, given the history these two have. They don’t trust each other and they suffered against the likes of The New Day. The psychology was pretty well thought, and it will help as they move closer to Hell In A Cell where they have to face Harper and Strowman. This team may not really have a happy ending.

Ambrose and Orton might start a feud of their own, since Harper and Strowman are a much better unit at this point than they are. Or maybe Orton will be another teammate that will walk away much like Jericho.

#1 The saga ends

Rusev is back together with Lana

It isn’t the most logical ending but what can be logical about a very illogical storyline that stretched way beyond its saturation point. The Rusev- Lana engagement in real life was written into this storyline and Lana and Rusev are back together and Ziggler just responded to all of this by trying to be cool and move on with Raw in Chicago. Summer Rae walked out during Rusev’s match against Ryback and now we can safely say that this unfortunate storyline is over.

Lana and Rusev are back to being heels. Yay for that!
