Shane O’Mac is back

The Game was at his ruthless bestVince McMahon kicked off this episode of Raw by proclaiming it to be one of those editions which will be remembered for a long, long time. And it was quite apt given that the Road to Wrestlemania was officially underway. This statement was on point because of what happened during this segment that will be talked about for some time to come.A major Wrestlemania match was made and this wasn't the only match announced officially. Dean Ambrose is on his way to Wrestlemania as well. Yes, he made it, but his opponent is not so easy to overcome. There will be more surprises and given that Wrestlemania is the next Pay Per View, expect storylines to gain steam and hopefully, some meaning. Here are the 5 promising developments from tonight's show-

#1 The prodigal son

Shane O’Mac is back

The last time we saw Shane McMahon on Raw was in 2009. Fast forward seven years and he returned to a rousing reception, which was ‘MASSIVE’ in every sense of the word.

It couldn’t have come at a more opportune moment. Vince McMahon was on the show giving the Legacy of Excellence award to his daughter when out came the prodigal son. He laid out all the stats of how Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are running the company into the ground. He was out there to claim what he thinks always belonged to him in the first place. When he said wanted to take control of Monday Night Raw, it felt too good to be true.

This segment was all about legacy. Father and son went word for word in this segment. Vince McMahon was okay giving the opportunity but not that easy. The best thing to take away from this segment was the presence of all three McMahons – three of the most entertaining characters sports entertainment has ever produced.

#2 Undertaker is coming to Wrestlemania

Shane McMahon will face Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32

Remember when there was speculation that Undertaker’s Wrestlemania opponent wasn’t on the main roster yet. Well, that opponent returned to the main roster tonight. Vince McMahon booked his son in a match against one of the greatest Wrestlemania performers ever.

This came after an intense war of words between father and son. Well, we now know that the Road to Dallas – to the biggest Wrestlemania ever – is going to be quite an interesting route to follow.

Also, this match will be in a Hell In A Cell, which will put some butts into the seats for sure.

#3 Ambrose will face Lesnar

Ambrose is down but not out

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar still have some unfinished business. After Ambrose did whatever it took to keep the beast aside at Fastlane, he got mauled and trampled by Lesnar later on which rendered him almost out of Wrestlemania.

But the one thing that you know about Ambrose is that nothing is enough to kill him. He dragged his body to the ring and valiantly challenged Lesnar to a fight at Wrestlemania; not just any fight, but a street fight. Lesnar accepted and then sealed the deal with an F-5.

#4 Divas storyline

Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch are set to face each other

While we wish that a triple threat happens for the Divas title at Wrestlemania, WWE took a logical route by having Lynch and Banks fught it out to determine the new no.1 contender. Fret not, there is still hope that both of them may make it together but we can atleast rest assured that given the history of womens matches in Wrestlemania, this year may be different. First, we’ll have female wrestlers wrestle and secondly we can have a title match.

#5 Reigns and Triple H collide

Triple H and Reigns had a bloody brawl

Reigns and Triple H had quite the Raw ending. On a night which began with a segment where Vince McMahon used the F word, Raw ended with some blood.

The WWE World heavyweight Champion and the no. 1 contender had a brawl, maybe much in tandem with what kicked off their feud at TLC 2015. Reigns was on the receiving end this time. Even though he showed some fight, this was Triple H’s night.

He stood above Reigns’ body and one has to wonder how Reigns may be doing going into Wrestlemania,
