WWE RAW- 3 things that did not work

The love triangle that doesn’t ceaseRaw being Raw won’t be Raw if everthing that happened entertained the audience. Sure, entertainment leads to many outrageous, pointless segmenst or matches but many times that ridiculousness can only go so far.Raw is always witness to some things that just do not work and won’t work inspite of the fact that you drag them along, give them time and still do not come up with anything meaningful or something that the audience can invest their time and money into it.Sheamus’ gimmick is entertaining but his booking still lacks quality.Here are the 3 things that just did not work-

#3 The Saga

Saga City

The Rusev- Lana saga is possibly the worst storyline of this year. There is no way that this storyline will work. All the people involved in this saga are good actors and they play their roles well but the storyline just plain stinks.

The fight between Summer Rae and Lana is pointless. Just move on already, it’s the 21st century. But now, the WWE will make Rusev have a new girlfriend and Lana have a new boyfriend and let them all feud against one another.

And this seems to be unending when things have no meaning anymore.

#2 That Promo

Booked too awful

Remember last year when Seth Rollins became Mr. Money In The Bank. Throughout his time holding the briefcase, Rollins had a certain excitement surrounding him. He was booked pretty well as a heel. He even had a great feud with his brother Dean Ambrose. He steadily main evented and feuded with Lesnar and Cena and looked like he belonged with the big players of the game. He was bold and how glorious was his Wrestlemania victory?!

Sheamus’ Money In The Bank victory has gone onto become what his Royal Rumble victory a few years was- pointless.

He’s feuding with Randy Orton with a storyline that doesn’t have much weight on it. And his promo backstage was quite incomprehensible.

#1 The Main Event

A most un-exciting cash-in

Another main event goes down the drain. This main event teased a Sheamus cash- in, which we knew wasn’t going to happen. It teased a Randy Orton victory, which we knew wasn’t going to happen.

All of this was fine but what really did not, will not work is Sheamus running to the referee indicating a cash in but just not allowing the referee to take the briefcase. It actually looked like he was pulling the briefcase away from the referee who was trying his best to take it from him.

You don’t look like that when you have opportunity knocking at your door.
