WWE RAW 9th February 2015 - 5 promising developments

It was certainly a very eventful Raw. It had good moments and some not so memorable moments like always. But storylines were developed and not to many segments dragged on. And also repetition does ensue. But it did make the Road to Wrestlemania look more exciting by having so many build ups in one night. The focus is great on multiple feuds and the writing team did more of a good job in detailing each upcoming feud for Wrestlemania.Here are the five promising developments from this week’s Raw.

#5 Brock Lesnar is no ordinary man

So, if Reigns and Bryan are here colliding,how can Lesnar be far behind. Paul Heyman delivered another impactful promo. It was all about how Brock lesnar is extraordinary and Reigns and Bryan cant even lace up his boots. It was everything that Heyman has been saying about everyone trying to stop Lesnar, but he just makes it something worth listening to for the way he speaks is extraordinary in itself.

#4 Cena vs Rusev

The promo time between these two wasnt really anything new but it made things clear that this feud is more of a legendary superstar telling a rookie to know his role and shut his mouth. Basically as they want to say it- A Lesson in Respect.

But while Cena went on about how hes going to essentially bury Rusev, Rusev came charging towards the Cenation leader and had for a moment they were at par with each other. Then Rusev delivered a thumb to the eye and then the last striking image was of John cena lying motionless on the ramp. And Rusev looking like The Brute hes known as.

#3 Bryan-Reigns collide

WWE took the leap and had these two have the first taste of a collision. After their faceoffs on Raw and Smackdown last week, things finally went crashing through on Raw. Bryan still came out looking like the popular one, it’s just not easy to be cheered more than Bryan at this juncture by many superstars. Reigns performance has been strong since the Royal Rumble and things still look up in the air for Wrestlemania.

Their match at Fast Lane may just be the factor that decides the card for Wrestlemania.

#2 Bray Wyatt\'s momentum

Another instance of fantastic proportions was Bray Wyatts entire presentation on Monday Night. His entrance is something worth watching. The firefly effect to the crowd makes it look like so much of a spectacle and hes set to face The Undertaker, or so it seems. The excitement for that clash and for Undertakers eventual return is simply worth waiting for. You just look at Wyatt and just know that this absurd character is going to face another absurd character but that character happens to be a legend of epic proportions.

Arguably, the best moment of the night belonged to the storyline between Sting and Triple H.The real winner was the treatment of Sting’s character. A week after talking about how kayfabe is dying or simply dead on the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast, WWE pulled off a masterstroke in having Sting accept Triple H’s challenge the way he did. It was spectacular and it was spell-binding. Even that split second image of a lookalike younger version of Sting was awe striking. That mythic energy is only going to get Sting more over with the casual fans and hardcore fans alike.
