WWE Raw 9th March 2015- 5 promising developments

This was an episode full of developments. A few matches were made official and a few more look set to be added officially to the card. This was an episode which will come under consideration of moments when WWE crossed the boundaries in its very PG product. Randy Orton, especially, did something very un PG-like but all of that can be accomodated with his character traits.Here arethe five promising developments from this weeks Raw, two weeks before Wrestlemania.

#1 ENCORE!

Paul Heyman delivered a breathless, breathtaking promo on the legend that Brock Lesnar has already become. His microphone was cut off and that was just the beginning of the awesomeness that imploded with quite a jolt.

Paul Heyman is unparalleled on the microphone. He ran over the WWE claiming that the powers that be are trying to pull off a Montreal Screwjob by taking the championship away from Lesnar and then making Rollins cash-in on Reigns to win the title. All of that, just because Rollins will be a ‘cheaper’ champion than Lesnar who, quite obviously, has a fatter paycheck.

And, he mentioned UFC as Lesnar wants to unify this title with the UFC championship.

This may well go down as the promo of the year and one of the best promos ever.

#2 Undertaker accepts

A week after WWE put a video on Youtube about the top 10 Undertaker mindgames, it was only apparent that a mindgame will be set in place for Bray Wyatt. And so it happened.

The gong went off once, twice,thrice.

The lights went out and when they came back on Wyatt’s chair was in the middle of the ring. And lightening struck. The chair bore the wrath of all of it.

Undertaker accepts the challenge.

#3 Lana accepts

Rusev was just demolished to actually accept the challenge. John Cena pulled off quite a lot of ruthless aggression to get his way with Rusev. He rendered the Russian unconscious by locking him in the STf and then poured water to bring him back to earth,only to put him back in the lock again. Lana, seeing the hapless state of events, accepted Cena’s challenge on Rusev’s behalf.

Rusev gave a piece of his mind to lana afterwards, albeit in Russian.

That may be the sign for Lana’s brief departure to film a movie.

#4 The Viper strikes

And this is how the cookie crumbles, Rollins!

Randy Orton snapped and gave Rollins a beating to remember. He demolished Mr. Money In The Bank and their match at Wrestlemania may soon be in place. This was a long time coming and it delivered the message crisp and clear- Orton is back to avenge the beating he took at the hands of The Authority’s newest Golden Boy.

Sweet revenge!

#5 Sting\'s Perspective

A video package was aired to showcase Sting’s point of view. The message was a logical explanation.

Sting is playing the gimmick that made him a rage during WCW’s best days. The Vigilante is out there to make the powerful suffer. Being the reality era and all, the isue of WCW did come up and he mentioned that he was loyal to the brand till the very end but Triple H is only loyal to himself and not the WWE.

The Vigilante isn’t fighting for the WCW. He’s fighting the corrupt powers that be.
