WWE RAW June 16th 2014- 5 Promising Moments

This was not the best episode of Raw by any stretch of the imagination. It featured many forgettable matches and segments and only a few moments stood out. Itll be difficult to find a diamond in this rough but its still worth a try.Here are five promising developments from this week's show.

#1 Rollins Vs Ambrose is On.

And so it became clear that Rollins and Ambrose are headed for quite a concoction of a grudge match. The build has been simple yet significant ( a la Mad Men). The biggest takeaway is that it’s finally going to happen on the main roster.

Two superstars with quite a reputation beyond the spheres of WWE and considered to be the best amongst the rest, being young and all, are set to collide in what could be the feud of the Reality Era. It can. The history between them as members of the Shield will forever remain etched in the history books of WWE and that makes any future feud between them an added delight.

#2 Ziggler\'s got competition

Ziggler is not a part of any storyline but WWE shamelessly uses his popularity to bring attention to other superstars. But in that experiment not many have clicked in the arena of in ring chemistry with him until he faced Rollins, of course.

Ever since he debuted with the Shield, Rollins has been known to sell moves really well and that got many calling him better than Ziggler at selling those moves. And now here we have both of them facing each other for the second time in two weeks. They have definitely clicked.

#3 The character that is Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is finally getting his ‘me’ time. I mean, he is finally coming into that mode of eccentricity that he has a reputation of. He showcased that to some extent in his match against the IC champion, which by the way he fought wearing jeans.

Ambrose’s character got quite a boost with all the wildness and eccentric display of emotions he put forth in his match against Barrett.

#4 Someday. . .

As far as in ring chemistries go, another thing if noted is Barrett and Ambrose’s in ring chemistry and the fact that again the Shield in togetherness or apart got the best moments from Raw this week.

This match was a short display of how Barrett and Ambrose can work together whenever they engage in a feud, Right now, Ambrose came out looking better because no story is bigger at the moment than the dissolution of the Shield.

#5 And the baton is passed to. . .

Another notable point is the presence of Wyatt and Reigns in the MITB ladder match for the undisputed titles. It is quite a big push for this younger lot to be in the presence of some of the the biggest stars in the company and fight for the biggest prize there is in the WWE and that too as singles competitors in a main event of a pay per view. I hope either Wyatt or Cesaro wins.
