WWE RAW Review: 5 things that could have been better

On the road to Survivor Series, the traditional tag team match took centre stage as members were added one by one by one and by the end of Raw, one could have a clear idea of what they could witness at Survivor Series. But even though it was a major storyline development, the night did not have many special things to boast about. Though the London crowd did not dissappoint.Here are 5 things that WWE could have done away with

#1 A better Build up

There is something strange with Bray Wyatt and it’s not just his gimmick.

The strange thing is that whenever he’s had a great build up, the matches haven’t been great and whenever he’s had a poor build up, the matches tend to be better or great.

The former happened with John Cena and the latter happened with Chris Jericho. But the man still needs a victory. So does Dean Ambrose, who hasn’t had a single victory as a singles competitor on a PPV.

Their segment on last weeks Smackdown was really good and could have been incorporated on Raw instead of Smackdown.

#2 Have Henry and Rusev in the same team

So, now,Mark Henry and Rusev are going to be in the same team as if nothing happened between them a mere month ago? Maybe, the WWE should play out that dynamic in the coming week but if they don’t, then that’s another instance of logic deserting the WWE.

It would have been sort of better if Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble could put on their wrestling boots again for this match but addressing different feuds with this match is also an apt idea.

#3 Two good to be true

It is quite apparent that the Bellas have improved their wrestling skills quite a lot. Raw featured two divas matches, as has been the custom for this year. But on Raw, the two matches featured were Paige Vs Alicia Fox and AJ Vs Brie Bella.

On paper, these could have actually been good but both these matches weren’t given the time that they deserved.

The only point to note was that Paige got to wrestle in her home country.

#4 No Cesaro

Okay, Cesaro is being punished. That’s old news. It’s sad that it might have kept him away from the Traditional Survivor Series tag team match. It could have been great to have him in that heavily hyped match, but right now it looks he might not even be a part of this PPV. It seems that Luke Harper may head towards an IC title shot in the future given that he tossed Ziggler about in the final moments of Raw.

#5 The Mizdow tease

Damien Sandow has had his breakthrough. He has been able to make a ridiculous gimmick seem entertaining. He is the shining star and he’s not even a ‘star’ officially, he’s the stunt double. On Monday, he and The Miz were involved in a very unflattering match against the Los Metadores. The match was only important for the reaction Mizdow has been recieving.

He’s not just a star, he’s now an international star.
