It was for the first time in a long time that WWE utilized the three hours that it’s on air for since the past 2 and a half years. There were many moments that stood out. Some of them got many minutes of screen time. Some had to manage their bit in the little amount of time allotted to them (read The Divas). But at the go home show for Fast Lane, WWE did deliver on many levels. Here are the top 5 moments that make Fast lane worth the wait.

#5 Anti-diva

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

This may well be the first sign of the anti-diva character that Paige was hailed and admired for during her NXT days. Obviously, there were time constraints but it was enough to make her look like someone not to be ignored. For weeks, Bellas have continued to be loathed and gained a lot of heel momentum. They have arguably turned into better workers over the past year or so and all WWE needed for this feud to matter was to gain some momentum for Paige.

She made that clear with just one line- ‘The difference between you and me is that I don’t need an outfit to make me look good’. She said that after she regardlessly interrupted the Divas Champion.

#4 Ambrose\'s Chase

Dean Ambrose is out to face an Intercontinental Champion who hasn’t really won any of his matches since becoming champion. Ambrose is undeniably gutsy and entertaining and popular. His character has never waned in the sight of having nothing much from Creative’s corner. But on the go-home show something meaningful happened. He defeated a former Intercontinental Champion in Luke Harper after defeating Curtis Axel, another former champion, for weeks. This symbolized how he deserves to fight and become the IC Champion. By chasing the title this way, he’s making the title look something worth fighting for.

Also, how simple yet significant is his signature?

#3 Prime Time Players Reunite

The Ascension haven’t yet become a flop show yet. They still have potential, if packaged prperly, to become one of the most redoubtable tag teams in the WWE. They now have, what seems like an impending feud with the newly reunited Prime Time Players. A week after his tweet generated some controversy, Darren Young returned to Raw and just when we thought he’ll be pushed aside by Viktor and Konnor, out comes his former tag team partner Titus O Niel and everything in the Universe seemed to have attained some balance.

#2 Speaking from experience

Having Ric Flair on Raw was quite logical. Hes Triple Hs buddy and former tag team partner. Hes also one of Stings most celebrated rivals with whom he had one of the greatest rivalries ever. And Flair came out to dole some advice for his buddy that Sting is not one to be taken lightly. His mind games are already working on the COO. Heel-ness ensued and Triple H chided Flair away but come Sunday, you know, I know, the world knows that Triple H is going to be up for something spectacular.

#1 Let them fight

It’s expected to be quite a fight. Nobody’s going to settle for anything less than a win and both Bryan and Reigns want that desperately. While Reigns is the one versus all, Daniel Bryan is the David in the David vs Goliath saga that fans want to see between Lesnar and the man of the Yes movement. Both Reigns and Bryan were relentless in their attack on Monday and it showcased what might unravel at Fast Lane.
