WWE Top 5 Superstars of The Week

This week has been monumentally better than the build up to Night Of Champions. But the PPV turned out to be one of the best of the year with many new stars getting the spotlight. Unexpected glory came out of the most unlikely matches. there were 4 title changes in 27 hours. FOUR! There were many spectacular matches and one spectacular return.Here are the top 5 superstars of the week

#5 Damien Sandow

What to say? Damien Sandow is playing Miz’s gimmick better than the Miz himself. That’s what stunt doubles are like. They are hired to do things that actors generally aren’t dared to do. And here, Sandow has turned a gimmick that could have been embarrasing and downright redundant, into something so worth watching. He has become Must-See Television.

#4 Dolph Ziggler

There are only a few things absolute about the WWE. If the management wants they can make or break a superstar (see Zack Ryder). Ziggler, for sure, deserves to be in the main event. He’s had many chances that reached an impasse. He has been known to be in the doghouse for some time but the crowd support never ever died. He still recieves one of the biggest pops and is one babyface who is unanimously cheered.

He lost and won the IC title in a matter of a day.

#3 Stardust

Stardust and Goldust won the tag team championship from the Usos and reight now the brothers are in their second reign as champions. The young Rhodes has thrived in this bizarre gimmick and made the most of it becoming one of the mos interesting characters on the roster and one of the many young superstars who seem to have a lotof unused potential tapped in them. In one memorable moment he slapped the bejesus out of an Uso. That was textbook heel but in their bizarroland, anything is possible.

#2 Cesaro

His gimmick hasn’t really set the stage on fire but his wrestling skills ahve. He hasn’t had a clear direction ever since his major push during Wrestlemania season, but that hasn’t affected his rising momentum. he had the best match of the week against Sheamus. One of the defining moments of the match was Sheamus unhinged by Cesaro’s attck, asking for more. That captured what the entire match was- an all out brawl between two behemoths. He came really close to defeating Ziggler on Smackdown and taking the IC title. That seems to be his new feud. Nothing short of stellar is expected from these two amazing wrestlers.

#1 Dean Ambrose

Not only did he have a stellar return where he got out of a cab and did not even pay the fare, he was given a lot of screen time on Raw accompanied by a face off with John cena which recieved quite an ovation from the crowd. He is not your virtuous babyface which could be seen the moment Cena was standing face to face with him. The stark difference in their appearance and the way they carry themselves is testimony to his anti-heroic gimmick.

he has been pushed into some major spotlight, regardless of the fact that he’s lost in every match he’s had with his former brother. That clearly shows that the WWE is listening to the reactions he’s been getting.
