#5 Rock vs. Ken Shamrock

A chaotic brawl

The Rock defended his WWF Intercontinental Championship against the former UFC fighter, Ken Shamrock. This match lasted for less than 5 minutes, but it was all chaos right from the start and till the end.

There were countless bodies in refereeing uniforms, many standing ringside and guys coming from the back. The superstars tried to take advantage over the unwanted opponents on a few occasions, but the interference was just too much to do so.

It was Rock in the end that was declared the winner and the match ended in a DQ. With this, The Rock also retained the title.

Winner: The Rock

#4 Cactus Jack/Chainsaw Charlie vs. New Age Outlaws

An unsuccessful title defence

Billy Gunn and Road Dogg – the New Age Outlaws – defended their Tag Team Championships in a Dumpster match against Cactus jack and Chainsaw Charlie. The rule for this match was simple: you sole objective is to put your opponents into a dumpster and close the lid.

After a few failed attempts by the Outlaws, Jack and Charlie took the fight backstage and attacked the defending champs.

Charlie used the forklift and elevated the wooden crate as Jack dragged Road Dogg and Gunn onto the dumpster. Charlie then drove the forklift above a backstage dumpster and dropped both opponents inside as Cactus Jack closed the lid.

Charlie and Jack emerged as the new WWF Tag Team Champions.

Winner: Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie

#3 Triple H vs. Owen Hart

The ‘Game’ steals one

Triple H – accompanied by Chyna, took on Owen Hart in a match for the WWF European Championship. Sgt. Slaughter handcuffed himself to Chyna to avoid her interference in the match. Hart went for an early Sharpshooter and the ‘Game’ successfully countered it and repeatedly went on to attack the injured ankle of Hart.

The Chyna factor soon came into the picture as she pulled Triple H to the ropes off a Sharpshooter and saved the match for his man. She also threw white powder in Slaughter’s eyes coupled with a low blow to Hart, allowing Triple H to deliver a Pedigree on the Hitman and emerge the victor..

Winner: Triple H

#2 Stone Cold vs. Shawn Michaels

Austin becomes the WWF Champion

In the main event, Shawn Michaels defended his WWF World Heavyweight Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin. This match became all the more special with the presence of Mike Tyson as the special enforcer and it was during the closing moments of the match that he came into the frame.

Michaels incapacitated Austin and set the stage up for a Sweet Chin Music, but the Texas Rattlesnake ducked and attempted a Stunner, which Michaels countered with a Kick of his own.

Austin caught his leg, turned him 360 degrees and delivered a Stunner. As there was no referee to count, Tyson came into the ring and quickly smacked his hand three times into the mat and declared Austin the winner and as a result, the new WWF Champion.

After the match, when Michaels tried to confront Tyson, the once feared boxer attacked him with his fist and that was it for the night for HBK.

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin

#1 The Undertaker vs. Kane

Undertaker makes it 7-0 at WrestleMania

The match started with Kane and Taker exchanging blows, after which Kane took the upper hand with a clothesline. Taker was dropped on the ropes and Kane hit him on the neck with the action continuing outside the ring.

Kane dropped his brother on the barricade, then on the steel steps and systematically worked on his brother’s back. Kane then took Taker back to the ring, delivered a suplex on him and followed it up with a choke slam to get a near fall.

Taker came back into the match with a clothesline and a big boot. He then made a failed attempt to jump onto Kane outside the ring but instead went through the table. Kane took advantage with a high flying clothesline from the top rope and followed it up with a Tombstone and covered him again. Taker showed his resilience again and kicked out at 2.

The Phenom then came back into the match and went for a Tombstone on Kane and pinned him, but Kane survived. He then jumped onto Kane from the top rope and for the final time in the match, delivered the Tombstone piledriver for the victory.

Taker won the match and went 7-0 at WrestleMania. Kane was irate after the match and delivered a Tombstone to his brother on the steel chairs.
