WWE WrestleMania 32: 5 bold predictions for the biggest event of the year

The Devil gaining power?

Detour from Suplex City to the Ambrose AsylumJust over two weeks remain until WrestleMania 32, and the card looks to be both star-powered and unexpected, especially considering the roster of wrestlers who cannot compete at the event. With the unexpected, though, comes even more of the unexpected. In this article, I’ll be looking at a few bold predictions for WrestleMania 32, and highlighting how likely it is for such a thing to happen in real life. Bear in mind that I won’t be considering the impossible, of course, so “Seth Rollins will win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal” isn’t going to be in this.Let’s start off with a big one, shall we?

#5 Bray Wyatt aligns himself with The Authority

The Devil gaining power?

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns have had serious issues in the past, and for all we know, those issues are still there. Bray Wyatt already stated that he is sure he and Roman Reigns aren’t quite done just yet, and don’t take all your money off the table when someone says it won’t be in the main event of WrestleMania 32. Bray Wyatt doesn’t have a match on the WrestleMania card as of now, and every time Bray Wyatt isn’t booked for a pay-per-view, he interferes or something big happens. It happened at Hell In A Cell 2014, and Money In The Bank last year.

Looking at the way he and Triple H stared at each other on Raw a couple of weeks ago, it may well be an indication of some sort of alliance, and the prospect of having The Wyatt Family be a part of the most villainous stable in the WWE is a promising development. And the inevitable Reigns-Wyatt feud if he helps Triple H win will be great.

#4 Dean Ambrose will make Brock Lesnar tap out

Could this happen?

The list of things that will definitely happen in the match between Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose incldes blood and no technicality. And odds are strongly in favour Brock Lesnar, there’s no way around that. But what if it’s actually Dean Ambrose that pushes it the extra mile, and does something that nobody thought was possible – make Brock Lesnar give up?

Ambrose has anything he wants at his disposal, and as far as his gimmick goes, he will use all of it. Perhaps handcuffing Lesnar to the ring post and consistently torturing him would do the trick, or even just getting past Lesnar on will and stamina alone. If Brock Lesnar taps out to Dean Ambrose, it would likely make the latter the most important figure in the business.

#3 The Rock wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

A stretch?

Maybe not Seth Rollins, but The Rock? Dwayne Johnson has already confirmed that he will be at WrestleMania 32, but it’s unclear as of now what his role will be. Sources have said that it’s likely that he’ll be at ringside for The Usos, but what if he actually does compete, in a match that he would least likely compete in?

The previous two winners of this match have really gotten nowhere, and with The Rock, he wouldn’t even be around to get somewhere? So who’s to say that he wouldn’t just pop up for this match, win, and then leave again? It would be a welcome change over his extensively long segment at last year’s show, that’s for sure.

#2 Ric Flair betrays Charlotte

We’re likely to not see this gesture though

Okay, to be fair, this one isn’t really as unexpected as the other ones might be, because families in WWE don’t last. One will eventually fall out with the other, and what if we see that at WrestleMania? Interestingly enough, Charlotte is facing both Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, both of whom have had mixed relationships with her in the past. That very basis could prove to be the pivot around Ric Flair aiding either woman to a victory, saying that he simply saw someone better than Charlotte, and initiating a face turn for his daughter, which may well boost her career, as well the new Divas’ Champion (whoever Flair sides with).

Let’s just say it’s never really safe to trust Ric Flair.

#1 The Undertaker will lie down for Shane McMahon

Could The Deadman play dead?

Perhaps the most shocking match to be happening at this year’s WrestleMania is this one, for two reasons: Nobody expected The Undertaker’s opponent to be Shane McMahon, and nobody expected Shane McMahon to be around anyway! However, what makes this dynamic even more interesting is that The Undertaker is working for Vince McMahon – or is he? The Undertaker sure doesn’t think so, because he hasn’t exactly been best buddies with the Boss. So what’s to say that he doesn’t just hand Shane McMahon the win, so that he takes control over Raw?

The Undertaker has just been told (in a more profane way) by Shane McMahon, that he’s Vince’s puppet, and who’s to say The Undertaker won’t take this to heart? Let’s say the match is brutal, as is expected, and in the end, The Undertaker delivers one final Tombstone to Shane McMahon, and then looks at Vince, who is ringside. He then lies down and pulls Shane over himself, and stays down for three, just to prove that he would have won the match fairly, but he doesn’t work for anyone.

Come to think of it, that may well be possible.
