The main event of WrestleMania-6 is often referred to as "The Ultimate Challenge". In what was a blockbuster match, two major titles were defended in the same match. Hulk Hogan defended his WWF World Heavyweight Championship and The Ultimate Warrior defended his Intercontinental Championship in the main event and the stipulation was simple- The winner takes it all.

It was Hogan who challenged Warrior for the match as he wanted to determine who the supreme force in WWF was - The Immortal One or The Ultimate Warrior! Warrior accepted the challenge and the match was officially announced for WM-6.
In a marathon match that lasted for more than 20 minutes, Warrior did the unthinkable by defeating the Hulkster and the winning double gold. In the process, he also became the first ever Intercontinental and WWF Champion in the history of WWE. Later, he was stripped of the IC title due to the existing rules back then.
