He was born on December 10, 2003 and made history at the age of 16 by becoming the youngest climber to qualify for the Olympics in 2020 at Tokyo. Duffy's climbing journey began at the age of five when he was drawn to the thrills of scaling walls. This led his family to send him to join Team ABC in Boulder Colorado at the age of eight where he was taken under the guidance and coaching of legendary climbing coach Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou along with future Olympic climber Brooke Raboutuo.
