Emma Hunt is a rising star in the world of sport climbing hailing from Woodstock, Georgia. She was born on April 1, 2003 and started climbing at the young age of five as a family pastime but it soon grew into a hobby and later into passion that propelled her onto the top of competitive climbing.

Hunt's list of accomplishments in competitive climbing speaks volumes about her career as a climber. At just 21 years old, Hunt has made her mark on the sport. In 2023, she won a Silver medal in the Speed Category at IFSC Climbing World Championships held in Bern, Switzerland. She solidified her status as one of the top climbers in the world with this performance. Notably, she also broke the US women's record for the fastest speed climbing, clocking at 6.67 seconds at the same event.

This achievement not only earned her a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games but also made her the first American athlete to qualify for speed climbing. Interestingly, Speed Climbing was introduced to the Olympic Games in 2020.
