Grossman's breakthrough on the international stage came in 2021 when she took the climbing world by storm. That year, she won two gold medals in World Cup events held in Salt Lake City, becoming the first woman to beat the legendary Janja Garnbret in a Boulder World Cup since 2018. Grossman's dominance continued, as she went on to win the overall Bouldering World Cup title and the Bouldering World Championship, all at the age of 20.

Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou is an American rock climber and coach who was born on August 8, 1963. She is a four-time World Cup champion (1992, 1993, 1994, 1995) and the1995 World Championship winner in competitive lead climbing. Additionally, she has mentored several competitive climbers, including Margo Hayes, Colin Duffy, Megan Mascarenas, and Brooke Raboutou, her daughter.

During Robyn Erbesfield-Raboutou’s athletic career, she won the inaugural Climbing World Cup in 1989 in Leeds. Moving on, she competed in the World Cup circuit, where she further established her name. From 1992 to 1995, she went on to win the overall title in four consecutive World Cups. She also won the Rock Master in 1994.

Moreover, she was the third woman in history to complete the 8b+ (5.14a) Silence Vertical in France in 1993. In 1993, Robyn became the first female to see both an 8a (5.13b) and an 8a+ (5.13c). transitioned into coaching once her athletic career got over and started the ABC Kids climbing in Boulder, Colorado.

Notably, in 2018, Erbesfield-Raboutou was inducted to the Boulder Sports Hall of Fame.
