TIGHT ENDS:
1) Michael Mayer- 6'4, 251 lbs. Junior- Notre Dame Fighting Irish:
Michael Mayer is the clear frontrunner at the TE position for the 2023 NFL Draft. Mayer was a high school phenom and has only stepped up his level of play while at Notre Dame.
He has a spectacular frame that he uses effectively to block out would-be defenders and dynamic hands that catches everything thrown his way. Michael Mayer is a Top 10 overall talent in this class. Due to the position he plays, he could slide a bit further than anticipated but should remain a lock 1st round pick.
2) Dalton Kincaid- 6'4, 242 lbs. Senior- Utah Utes:
I have been thoroughly impressed with Dalton Kincaid in recent weeks. Kincaid will not wow you in the pass-blocking game, but he is a match-up problem as a TE in the slot or outside. He is too fast for linebackers and too strong for defensive backs.
3) Darnell Washington- 6'7, 265 lbs. Junior- Georgia Bulldogs:
NFL front offices will see 6'7, 265 lb. Darnell Washington and begin to salivate. Washington is an impressive physical specimen that hasn't put it all together.
4) Arik Gilbert- 6'5, 248 lbs. Junior- Georgia Bulldogs:
Georgia has quickly become TE University for college athletes. Arik Gilbert has taken a unique road in his college career. Gilbert and the Georgia coaching staff don't seem to be seeing eye-to-eye. Arik Gilbert is a talent, but there are some off-the-field issues.
5) Luke Musgrave- 6'6, 250 lbs. Junior - Oregon State Beavers:
There isn't much production to go by when looking at Luke Musgrave, but the NFL seems to be high on him. Musgrave measures 6'6, 250 lbs., and has fluid movement skills. I'm sure NFL teams see clay that they can mold at the next level.
6) Sam LaPorta- 6'3, 250 lbs. Junior - Iowa Hawkeyes
7) Tucker Kraft- 6'5, 255 lbs. Junior - South Dakota Jackrabbits
8) Jaheim Bell- 6'3, 235 lbs. Junior - South Carolina Gamecocks
9) Jahleel Billingsley- 6'4, 230 lbs. Junior - Texas Longhorns
10) Cade Stover- 6'4, 255 lbs. Senior - Ohio State Buckeyes
