The Washington Commanders will be heading to Lucas Oil Stadium to take on the Indianapolis Colts in a non-conference game and with new quarterbacks trying to fix their issues, which could be intriguing.
Both teams could be looking towards a potential playoff push in the second half of the season or be ready to trade off some pieces in order to get a better NFL Draft position.
Today, we are going to look at some of the best DFS options for the game.
Best quarterback picks
Cash Games and Tournament: Tyler Heinicke QB, Washington Commanders (DraftKings $5.2K, FanDuel $6.4K)
In a game where we do not know if Sam Ehlinger is going to be at the NFL level, Taylor Heinicke has given us some tape and did well enough last week to defeat the Green Bay Packers.
Heinicke is going to throw the ball downfield and try to step up to get chunk plays, but that also means mistakes are bound to happen. The Colts defense has been doing pretty well at limiting the pass, but look for Heinicke to have a high ceiling in this game.

Best running back picks
Cash Games: Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington Commanders (DraftKings $5.4K, FanDuel $5.6K)
Antonio Gibson is a player that can step up with some limited touches. He can be picked if there is a lineup crunch as he is not going to be that cost prohibitive at less than $6,000 on both platforms. He has a good 3.8 yards per attempt this season and the Titans ran for 138 yards last week against them.
Gibson is also a threat in the passing game as he has caught three passes in each of his previous four games.
Tournament: Jonathan Taylor, RB, Indianapolis Colts (DraftKings $8K, FanDuel $8.3K)
Jonathan Taylor has not been the horse you'd expect this season, but he is healthy after missing a couple of games and should be the lead point of this Indianapolis offense with a backup quarterback making his first NFL start. Washington allows 118.3 rushing yards per game, so this is a chance for JT to step up and carry the offensive load on his back and play like a top RB.

Wide receivers and tight ends
Cash game: Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Commanders (DraftKings $3K, FanDuel $5K)
This feels like a winning play as Logan Thomas is going to get balls thrown his way in this game as long as he is fit. He is on the injury report with a calf injury and has not played since October 2, but should be a cheap option that has touchdown potential with Heinicke checking down to a security blanket option that allows you to spend up on other positions.
Tournament: Michael Pittman Jr, WR, Indianapolis Colts (DraftKings $7.2K, FanDuel $7.1K)
Getting a top wide receiver is going to cost you some serious money, but it should be worth it in this game. Pittman is due for the end zone as he has not scored in his last five games. But Sam Ehlinger is going to look to his best players to step up and that is Pittman. He has seen at least eight targets in all but one game and has the ability to beat defenders in the secondary as the Commanders have a decent but not great secondary to cover him.
