The Minnesota Vikings travel to face division-rivals the Detroit Lions in one of the more entertaining games of the weekend.
For bettors, oddly enough, the Detroit Lions are favored over Minnesota this weekend, if that tells you anything about how Vegas feels about this one.
Best quarterback picks
Cash Games: Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings (DraftKings $6.1, FanDuel $7.5K)
Kirk Cousins is as safe a play at the QB position on this week's slate. The Vikings should have no issues moving the ball on the Lions' defense. Kirk Cousins has a safe floor and a high ceiling, the exact type of play you want to pursue in your Cash Game lineup.
Tournaments: Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions (Draftkings $5.6, FanDuel $7.1K)
Jared Goff has been playing well lately. The game script that seems the least likely is the Lions grinding out a victory on the ground. Most scenarios lead to the Lions having to throw the football at a high volume.

Best running back picks
Cash Games: Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings (DraftKings $7.3, FanDuel $8.7K)
Dalvin Cook is an every-week Cash game play. The Lions continue to bleed points to their opposition and Dalvin Cook remains in an every-down role for the Vikings.
Tournament: D'Andre Swift, RB, Detroit Lions (DraftKings $5.8K, FanDuel $7.2K)
It is difficult for DFS players to trust D'Andre Swift. Swift has been often injured throughout the 2022 season, but it appears he is finally healthy coming down the stretch. Play Swift and gain leverage against the fears of your opponents.
Wide receivers and tight ends
Cash Games: Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings (DraftKings $9K, FanDuel $9.3K)
Justin Jefferson has been one of the most consistent fantasy options at the WR position all season long. Jefferson should have his way against a Lions secondary that has little chance to slow him down, let alone stop him. Kirk Cousins to Justin Jefferson is one of my favorite stacks of the week.
Tournament: Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions (DraftKings $7.8K, FanDuel $8.6K)
Amon-Ra St. Brown has been the focal point of the Detroit Lions' passing offense for quite some time. The Minnesota Vikings' secondary has been one of the worst units in the NFL all season long.
I expect the Vikings' offense to have their way against a vulnerable Lions' secondary, which means the Lions are likely chasing points in a potential shoot-out. There are only so many ways the Lions can score points, so I imagine Amon-Ra St. Brown will be involved heavily, bringing you a bring-back option in your Vikings' stack.
