Plenty of player props are available for this NFL Week 7 matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Houston Texans on Sunday. Both teams have just one win, but they'll be out to prove that they're much better than their records indicate. Below, we'll highlight the best player props for this AFC battle.
Houston Texans vs. Las Vegas Raiders Match Details
Fixture: Houston Texans @ Las Vegas Raiders
Date & Time: Sunday, October 23, 4:05 p.m. EDT
Venue: Allegiant Stadium, Paradise, Nevada
NFL Player Prop #1: Brandin Cooks Under 5.5 Receptions (-120)
Brandin Cooks is the second-leading receiver for the Texans entering today's matchup. Cooks has a lot fewer receptions per game this year compared to his previous years with Houston, which could be a concern. While his targets have been around the same figure overall, he's only seen 20 targets over his past three games. Las Vegas' defense hasn't been particularly strong, but they'll likely key in on Cooks, and the Texans will feature running back Dameon Pierce a lot as well. Cooks is averaging just 4.3 receptions per game since Week 1, so expect him to stay under six catches today, especially since he saw just six targets previously.

NFL Player Prop #2: Derek Carr Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-113)
Derek Carr can't be too satisfied with his current numbers and his team's current record. His yards per attempt are the lowest they've been since 2017, but he's still throwing touchdowns at a good rate. Carr has thrown two or more TDs in every game this so far besides Week 4's contest versus the Broncos. The Texans' defense has holes, and Carr looked good in the 30-29 loss versus Kansas City. Expect Carr to throw two TDs at home this afternoon against a much weaker opponent.

NFL Player Prop #3: Davis Mills Over 34.5 Passing Attempts (-120)
Davis Mills only attempted 24 passes in a low-scoring 13-6 win over Jacksonville last week, but before that, he'd been averaging 35.5 attempts per game. Today, he'll face Las Vegas, where the Texans are one-touchdown underdogs. If Houston is trailing early or for the majority of the game, it'll mean that Mills will likely attempt a lot more passes. The Raiders allowed 43 attempts to the Chiefs last week, and while the Texans' offense can't match up to Kansas City's, expect Mills to reach at least 35 attempts today.
