These two control the glass well, while guards Rudi Williams and Spencer Johnson have chipped in offensively too. BYU couldn't get it going from downtown, but they held Nicholls to just 37.1% shooting from the field.

Last game, the Cougars knocked off Nicholls 87-73, propelled by a 50-point second half. BYU was able to pour it on in the second half, and a lot of this had to do with their activity on the glass. USC has won three in a row after falling to FGCU to open the season. In their opener, they were 18-point favorites and lost by 13, but they have bounced back with three wins, even though they've been closer than they would've liked. The Trojan's Drew Peterson finished third in scoring last year, but this year he's increased his scoring from 12.4 to 15.8. More impressively, Peterson is averaging 7.8 boards and 8.0 dimes, with his assists average ranking tied for sixth-best in the country. The senior 6'9" wing is one of the best all-around players in the country, and it's rare to see a player with this much versatility at this level. His teammate Boogie Ellis brings a lot of experience and also averages 15.8 points per game, so look for these two to have a significant impact on the floor again tonight.
