The Denver Broncos will take on the Arizona Cardinals at home on Sunday. The Broncos have had a really disappointing year, and they enter today's contest all the way down at 3-10. The Cardinals aren't much better at 4-9, and they lost embarrassingly 27-13 at home last week to the Patriots. Denver has lost five straight, while Arizona has dropped three in a row, so we'll see which team can get back on track this afternoon.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Denver Broncos Key Stats
Both teams' offenses have been pretty poor statistically, and both have their starting QBs out with injuries today. Colt McCoy gets another start for Arizona, which will be his third start of the year. With Kyler Murray out for the year, McCoy will get a chance to prove himself over these final weeks. Last game, the Cardinals' backup QB threw for 246 yards on 27-for-40 while throwing one pick. McCoy wasn't terrible, but he'll need to rely on wideouts DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown a lot once again. He threw to these two 19 times, but against a very good Broncos pass defense, it might be hard to get anything going through the air. Denver is pretty mediocre against the run though, which means Arizona running back James Conner could be able to continue his strong play this afternoon.
Denver's QB Russell Wilson is out this week, which means backup Brett Rypien will get the start. Rypien has started just once this year, and versus the Jets early this season, he really struggled. The Cardinals' defense isn't nearly as good as the Jets', but Rypien has yet to show that he's capable of leading a team to victory. Running back Latavius Murray has had some decent games this year, and he may be leaned on more than usual with Wilson sidelined. Wideouts Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy are pretty solid too, but we'll see if Rypien is able to find them consistently today.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Denver Broncos Betting Prediction
Denver are slim favorites today, and in this battle of backup QBs, this game could go either way. The Broncos are only 2-4 against the spread this year at home, and all year they've underperformed. The Cardinals Moneyline has excellent value today at plus money, and even though their defense is a lot weaker on paper, their offense today has more weapons and more players that can make big plays. Back the visitors here to pull the mini-upset in Denver.
Prediction: Cardinals ML (+105)
