The Anaheim Ducks hit the fourth leg of their five-game road trip today against the Edmonton Oilers.
Anaheim is coming off a nice 5-2 win against the Canadiens, picking up two points in Montreal leapfrogs them over the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Ducks are no longer the worst team in the National Hockey League.
Despite not being the very worst, this team is still horrid, but scoring five goals does give hope that there is some talent to be discovered in this team.
However, as nice of a win as that was, they won't be as lucky today, facing an Edmonton team with two of the best players in the league.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are one and two for NHL point leaders on the season. These two are unbelievable on the ice.
Despite having those two powerhouses, Edmonton has been struggling this season as they lack depth, and two players can only take a team so far.
The Pacific Division is tight, though, and a win here could catapult this team into second place.

Ducks vs. Oilers Best Picks
These two teams have some history, as they have been division rivals for quite some time.
This is the first time these two are meeting this season, but Edmonton swept the three-game set last year. Being in the same division, the familiarity helps out the Ducks. It gives them more of an edge than sometimes bottom-tier teams from the East.
Will it be enough for the Ducks to pick up an upset here? Probably not. But it will allow Anaheim to produce more chances on offense than a bottom-tier team from the West could.
Bettors can expect quite a few goals in this game, and the over should quickly cash.

Ducks vs. Oilers Preditcion
As stated, these teams have plenty of history, but the Oilers are playing so well right now they could beat anytime in the league. So they won't even struggle with Anaheim.
