Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Portland Trail Blazers Prediction: Injury Report, Starting 5s, Betting Odds & Spreads: December 10| 2022-23 NBA Season

Portland Trail Blazers v Cleveland Cavaliers
Portland to host Minnesota on Saturday

The Minnesota Timberwolves (13-12) jumped to the eighth spot in the Western Conference after a two-game winning streak. They put on a brilliant team performance against the Utah Jazz last night and beat them away from home, 118-108.

Rudy Gobert's arrival to his old court showed the crowd why he was loved there. He scored 22 points and played 37 long minutes in the win. However, it was D'Angelo Russell who was the star player for the Timberwolves. He scored 30 points while playing 36 minutes for his team. All the other players made important contributions as well. They will now take on the Portland Trail Blazers (12-12), ninth in the West, who faced a one-point loss in their last game against the Denver Nuggets (121-120).

Damian Lillard put up a performance last night, scoring 40 points, but failed to sail his team to victory. Jusuf Nurkic contributed 21 points, but to no joy. The bench proved to be too weak for the Trail Blazers as there was no solid contribution from them.

Trail Blazers: F Jeremy Grant, F Josh Hart, C Jusuf Nurkic, G Damian Lillard, G Anfernne Simmons.

Timberwolves vs. Trail Blazers: Betting Prediction

The Timberwolves have a 6-4 advantage over the Trail Blazers in their last 10 meetings. The worst part is, Portland have not won any of their last five encounters against Minnesota. They now have a chance to change that at home tonight and end the away side's two-game winning run. The over is 3-1 for them at home against a team that has a winning away record. Four of their last 10 games have crossed the total mark.

However, the away team will come full of confidence and will aim for their third consecutive win. Expect a tough game nevertheless.

Final Prediction: Total Over 230.5 (-110)
