The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Sunday (November 6th), with eight teams in action. Take a look at three team bets for tonight's action, featuring the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Washington Wizards.
NBA Best Team Bet #1: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Cavaliers Under 222 (-110)
The Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers have both played very good defense this season. The Cavaliers rank second in the NBA in defensive rating, and the Lakers aren't too far behind, ranking fifth. Furthermore, Cleveland ranks third in opponents' points per game. While Los Angeles ranks 15th in opponents' points per game, they were ranked tenth prior to their struggles against the Utah Jazz on Friday night.
Additionally, the Lakers' offense has struggled all season, ranking 25th and 29th in points per game and offensive rating, respectively. Although the Cavaliers' offense ranks sixth and seventh in those categories, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland, Cleveland's two leading scorers, are both questionable to take the court. Look for this to be a defensive matchup, with the teams combining to score less than 222 points.

Best NBA Team Bet #2: Chicago Bulls ML (+110)
The Chicago Bulls have gotten off to a slow start, sitting at just 5-5 after ten games. While their defense has improved, ranking 10th in opponents' points per game and eighth in defensive rating, their offense has struggled, ranking 18th in both points per game and offensive rating.
Their opponent, the Toronto Raptors, have had one of the NBA's best defenses, ranking fifth in both opponent's points per game and defensive rating. While they rank just 16th in points per game, they do have the fifth-best offensive rating. The Raptors, however, could be without Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet. Siakam is listed as doubtful, while VanVleet is questionable. Expect the Bulls to come away with the victory.
Best NBA Team Bet #3: Washington Wizards +10.5 (-110)
The Washington Wizards are coming off their worst loss of the season as they were defeated by the Brooklyn Nets by 42 points. Additionally, the Memphis Grizzlies are coming off their best win of the season, beating the Charlotte Hornets by 31 points.
Even still, this line seems unusually high. While the Grizzlies are 6-3, they have been one of the NBA's worst defenses in the early season. Although they should win this matchup, expect it to be by ten points or less.
