The NFL regular season is rapidly approaching its end with a handful of weeks left, and we have some of the top quarterbacks leading the way in terms of the 2023 MVP race. Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Joe Burrow, and Josh Allen have the top-four odds to win the award. However, it seems to have come down to two players as they are considered neck-and-neck with the spots changing each week. Let's zoom into each one and figure out who we should bet on to win the award by the end of the regular season.

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles, NFL (-160)
Jalen Hurts is currently the odds-on favorite to win the MVP Award right now and it makes a lot of sense with his ability to run and throw the football. He is almost a running back who can throw the ball well with 32 total touchdowns (22 passing, 10 rushing) and does not turn the ball over. The Eagles are also leading the NFL with a 12-1 record this season, which voters seem to love.
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs, NFL (+190)
For the first time in a while, Patrick Mahomes finds himself in second place for the NFL MVP Award. He is leading in passing yards (4,160), passing touchdowns (33), and QBR (77.9) this season. However, he has thrown 11 interceptions, with three of them coming last week against the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs are currently the second seed in the AFC. There is still time, but Mahomes needs to limit his mistakes if he wants a chance to reclaim the top spot.

Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals, NFL (+1000)
Joe Burrow has been playing well this season, but it seems to realistically be a two-man race for the award. That's not to say Burrow is struggling as he is third in the NFL in passing yards (3,685) and is second with 27 passing touchdowns. He faces the Buccaneers, Patriots, Bills, and Ravens to finish the regular season. He can increase his numbers and get to a solid 4,500 yards, and 35+ touchdown passes. These are tough defenses to end the year with and could be a struggle for him to wrap up the regular season.
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, NFL (+2000)
Right now, the Buffalo Bills are the top seed in the entire AFC, as they are 10-3 and hold the tiebreaker over the Kansas City Chiefs. The issue for him, though, has been his lackluster play lately as he has thrown seven touchdown passes and three interceptions in his last five games, with two of those games not eclipsing 200 passing yards. An elbow injury could hold him back, but he needs to play like he did at the beginning of the season if he wants to claim the MVP and that might not be enough at this point.
