Week 9 of NFL action has come to a close and it's time to reassess the value of 2023 NFL Super Bowl futures bets. The top four teams in the lead have remained the same, but the sportsbooks have regressed after this week. The Bills are still out in front as the favorites, while the undefeated Eagles, Chiefs, and long-shot 49ers are staying in the fight. Let's get into it.

2023 NFL Super Bowl Betting Odds
Buffalo Bills, NFL (+300)
The Buffalo Bills lost a stunning game against the New York Jets as the Bills were a 10.5 point favorite at kickoff. Last week's Super Bowl odds had the Bills at +230. This loss may be a blessing in disguise if bettors are considering placing a ticket on the Bills. Buffalo's offense has been tearing through defenses, but they were bound to have an off week when things cease to click on all fronts. The Bills have been batting a lot of injuries in their defensive secondary and on their offensive line (which is where Allen faced the most trouble). Plan on the Bills returning to their normal selves soon after injuries heal and take the extra value this week.
Philadelphia Eagles, NFL (+500)
The Eagles continued their undefeated run with a win against the Texans this week. Although they had to work a little bit, the Eagles moved to +500 from +550 this time last week. Jalen Hurts continued to be a consistent, efficient leader with 243 yards and two passing touchdowns. The run-game continued to be strong with Miles Sanders also. There isn't much new to say about Philadelphia right now except that they continue to impress. Looking at their schedule, they may not have a critical test until the postseason. The sportsbooks are liking what they see from Philly.

Kansas City Chiefs, NFL (+550)
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs bumped up from +700 last week. Mahomes picked up over 500 total yards and two touchdowns as he led the Chiefs to a comeback and overtime win against the Titans. The books responded accordingly to the Chiefs being able to show they can still fight and find a way to get the job down even when the offense isn't operating at maximum efficiency. This should be seen as a statement win to from the Chiefs.
San Francisco 49ers, NFL (+1200)
The 49ers had a bye this week and had a generous move up from +1300. The 49ers' new offense could use the extra week of practice and planning to get their new schemes set up. Look for them to have a big Week 10.
