The Oklahoma City Thunder travel to The Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Pelicans in a battle between two teams that have played exceedingly well in 2022.
The Thunder should have the advantage with their electric backcourt, while the Pelicans should have the advantage with their powerful frontcourt.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New Orleans Pelicans Injury Report
Nothing new that you already didn't know. Chet Holmgren is out for the season with a foot injury. We were looking forward to watching Holmgren's development during his rookie season. Sadly, we will have to wait until next year. Mike Muscala remains out as he deals with a finger issue.
CJ McCollum remains out and in the NBA's quarantine. Swingman Brandon Ingram is dealing with a toe issue. His status for Monday night is doubtful. I wouldn't count on Ingram suiting up for this one. Naji Marshall and Larry Nance Jr. are both questionable for this one. Marshall is dealing with an illness, and Nance Jr. is dealing with a shoulder injury.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. New Orleans Pelicans Betting Prediction
The New Orleans Pelicans have turned the corner from a fascinating team with talent to a contender in the Eastern Conference. A healthy Zion Williamson makes all the difference for this team. The Pelicans have an inside/outside game that puts pressure on the opposition for 48 minutes. The Pelicans are banged up entering this one, and if Brandon Ingram cannot go, they don't have as much firepower as they traditionally do.
Oklahoma City are playing over their heads and pose headaches for the opposition with a dynamic duo in the backcourt of PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and SG Josh Giddey. New Orleans may squeak out a victory, but I will pick the Oklahoma City squad to keep this one close and cover the spread.
Prediction: Oklahoma City Thunder +5.5 (-110) (O/U 232 -110)
