It's already looking like a rough night for both the Philadelphia 76ers (9-8) and their opponents, the Charlotte Hornets (4-14). Both teams will be coming into tonight's game with a litany of injuries and absent top players.
The 76ers are looking to continue bouncing back from a painfully close loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last night, they picked up a win over the Brooklyn Nets to get them back on the winning track. The Hornets, meanwhile, are coming into tonight off a loss to the Washington Wizards on Sunday.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Charlotte Hornets Betting Prediction
Despite some rather spotty defense of late, and the alarming number of players either on the bench or in danger of it heading into tonight, the 76ers remain the favorites here. The Hornets have had a difficult season thus far, one that will likely only continue if LaMelo Ball is out of tonight's game.
Based on recent performances, the Hornets will likely encounter great difficulty on the offensive side of the court once again tonight. That's great news for the 76ers given their defensive issues this season. It should also further open up opportunities for them to move in and score, much to the chagrin of the Charlotte crowd.
Overall, though, the huge number of injuries sustained to the 76ers this season will likely cost them against a healthier team in a fairly low points game.
Prediction: Charlotte Hornets -5 (-107)
