The Little Caesars Arena will play host to the NBA clash between the Utah Jazz and the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday (December 20).
The 17-16 Jazz are in poor form recently. They're winless in two, losing to the Bucks and the Cavaliers in successive games. Following the two defeats, they have dropped out of the top eight in the Western Conference, into ninth place.
Lauri Markkanen continues to impress and is coming off a superb 24-6 performance in a losing effort against the Cavs. He has been Utah’s talisman this season since his move from Cleveland in the Donovan Mitchell trade.
He has been tremendous in the last month, averaging nearly 23 points, 7.5 rebounds and one steal per game. His shooting numbers in this period have been incredible. He has gone 52% from the field and 51% from the three, making almost four 3-pointers per game.
The Pistons, meanwhile, are in disarray. They are statistically the worst team in the NBA, winning only eight of their 32 games. They come into this game rooted to the bottom of the Eastern Conference, having won only one of their last five games.
In their last game, they lost 124-121 to the Kevin Durant-led Brooklyn Nets, which dropped them below the Charlotte Hornets at the bottom of the standings.

Jazz vs Pistons Betting Prediction
The Jazz are clearly favored in this one. They haven’t been great this season but possess enough quality to put away the struggling Pistons team.
The Pistons have been horrible at home, winning only four of their 15 games at the Little Caesars Arena this campaign. The Jazz have won two of their last four outings and in the form Markkanen is in, they're almost certain to extend that streak.
