On Friday, the Gonzaga Bulldogs will be at home to face the Washington Huskies. Gonzaga ranked #18 in the country, recently bounced back against Kent State after losing to Baylor prior. The 6-3 Bulldogs didn't exactly dominate Kent State, but they'll look to make a statement tonight versus a 7-2 Washington side.

Washington Huskies vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs Key Stats
Washington has been really solid defensively, and star player Ken Brooks, who transferred from Kentucky this summer, has been a big part of that. He currently averages 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks while leading the team in scoring (16.6) and rebounding (7.0). Brooks was solid for Kentucky over the last two years, but he's really excelled with Washington thus far. The Huskies have some other decent scorers as well, but outside of Brooks, they don't have much consistent scoring.
Gonzaga was ranked as high as #2 this year, and even though they've been underwhelming, the Bulldogs are still one of the better teams in the country. They've played at a really fast pace all year, and as a team, they average an impressive 80.2 points per game. Senior Drew Timme is one of the best big men around, and he enters tonight's contest averaging 19.8 points and 8.2 rebounds. His teammate, Julian Strawther, has also done a great job crashing the glass, currently averaging up at 8.6 boards to lead the Bulldogs. Overall, Gonzaga has struggled at forcing turnovers, and in their losses overall, they've been inefficient. Tonight, they'll try to be more stout defensively in a game where they're huge favorites.
Washington Huskies vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs Betting Prediction
On paper, Gonzaga has a much deeper and stronger squad, but they've failed to cover each of their last five games. They haven't played much at home, but on Monday at home, they let a much weaker Kent State team hang around right until the end. Expect Washington, who has covered four of their past five, to play Gonzaga tight and cover tonight. Also, look for the total go over because, as we've mentioned, the Bulldogs play at a fast pace and because Washington has been very efficient in their recent games.
