The Boston Celtics take on the Washington Wizards at the TD Garden on Sunday (November 27) in NBA regular season action.
The Celtics have been in terrific form, sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 15-4. The Wizards have also had a good season, but haven't been as hot as the Celtics. They are currently sixth in the East with a record of 10-9. The betting odds and predictions are as follows:
The Celtics are the best team in the NBA at the time of writing. They have been tremendous on both ends of the court. They currently have the best offense in the NBA, with a rating of 119.6 as they score nearly 120 points per game - which is the most in the league. They are also the best three-point shooting team in the entire NBA, making the most threes per game (16.4) and doing at the second-highest efficiency (39.7%).
The Wizards have been very solid this campaign. Their success is built on their rock-solid defense, which ranks among the top six in the NBA. They concede only 109.6 points a night, which puts them in the top ten. They are also one of the strongest on-the-glass teams in the NBA, registering 45 rebounds per game.
The obvious matchup on the night will be between the two stars of the respective teams. Celtics' Jayson Tatum is the one true MVP favorite at this stage of the season, and that too for a variety of reasons. Tatum is playing at an elite level, scoring 30.5 points per game on a true shooting % of 62.5. Being the primary scoring option for his side, his shot-making numbers are ludicrous. He has scored below 20 points on only two occasions this entire season, putting into perspective his impact and his consistency. Another very impressive part of his game is the fact that he is performing at this level for the best team in basketball, showing how important he is to their success.
For the Wizards, it's Bradley Beal. He has been the epitome of consistency, scoring 23.1 points per game, while also leading the side in assists (6).

Washington Wizards vs. Boston Celtics Betting Prediction
There is a stark difference between the two sides, on form as well as on quality. The Celtics have been in scintillating form, winning nine of their last 10 games. They come into this game with an almost flawless record at TD Garden, having won eight of their nine home games this campaign. At face value, the Wizards stand no chance in this game; even though Tatum is unavailable for this encounter.
