10th standard school child allegedly beaten up by sports teacher

In a shocking turn of events, a 10th standard student studying in a school in Gurugram, who was brutally thrashed by his school's sports teacher, had to be rushed to the ICU amidst high tension, as the safety of school children came under the scanner yet again. This scenario followed a brutal murder of a young child a couple of months back.

This is the second incident that has rocked the city of Gurugram after the brutal murder of 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur on September 8, 2017, who was studying at Ryan International School.

This year, there have been a number of cases reported on child abuse in the city of Gurgaon that has forced parents to take a step back and address caution for the safety of their children in school.

Heart of the Matter

The 10th standard student, who was studying in his school was thrashed and had severe head injuries after the teacher repeatedly hit him, according to Mirror Now.

The child was admitted to a hospital overnight, and is currently said to be out of danger. However, based on the complaints filed by the child's parents, the school has been blamed for having neglected the magnitude of danger the child was in.

They also added that their child fell on the table after one major blow from the teacher, who continued to beat him. The student was in pretty bad shape when the school finally admitted their ward to a nearby hospital.

Although the reason for the sports teacher's extreme step has not been ascertained, the police have sprung into action and are expected to come out with a report soon enough.

Although the government has played its part to tighten the noose on the rules to be followed, the crimes and violence continue to take place, forcing parents and children to put each step forward with a word of caution.
