3rd edition of Corporate Games annouced

Corporate Games Private Limited has announced that its 3rd Edition will be held at Delhi from 21st to 24th November 2013. This year’s games will be played in 15 different disciplines namely- Badminton, Basketball, Billiards,Chess, Cricket 8s,Cycling, Golf, Hockey, Running, Soccer 6s, Soccer, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis and Volleyball.

The Second Edition of Corporate Games was held from 23^rd-25^th November 2012. 47 Corporates from Public Sector Undertakings, such as SAIL, ONGC, ONGC Videsh, IRCTC, Railtel, Garden Reach Ship Building, Coal India Limited and leading Corporates from private sector such as Nokia, GE Capital, HDFC Bank, Reckitt Benckiser, HCL, LG Electronics, Hotel Shangiri-la, Hughes Systique, SPML and many others participated. We are trying to approach about 200 Corporates in the current year with a hope to get at least 70 Corporates to participate in November 2013.

VVIP lady golfers also played Golf on 23rd November 2012 under Corporate Games Second Edition. Among the participants were ace golfer Neelam Pratap Rudy, Actress Puja Batra, Mrs. Mangalam Punj, Indu Seth, Veera Singh, Gita Rai, Sonia Gupta, Madhu Arora and many others.

Benefits accruing to individuals are many but the most important is that it creates culture of lifelong fitness in addition to building team spirit and will to win. Similarly, many benefits accrue to the Corporates such as

Inviting Participation

There is no limit to the number of participants an organization may enter in the Delhi Corporate Games. Opportunities for participation from 19 to 60 years of age and above are offered. Participants play in their own age group i.e. 19-29, 30-39, 40-49 50-59 and those above 60 years of age. Even their families and friends can participate. The winners are awarded medals and honoured, whereas Corporates/organizations are also honoured as first eight positions are given points from 08 to 01 and these points are added. The organization/corporate getting the highest number of points also gets a trophy.

This year, Corporate Games is expecting 2000 participants from 70-80 Corporates and Public Sector Undertakings.
