The WETF has prescribed to the rules of this game and states that people have enjoyed egg throwing since the enjoyment to watch somebody failing to catch an egg. There is World Egg Throwing Championship as well. This lovely sport draws on the failure to catch an egg as its mode for entertainment.

Egg tossing, egg toss, or egg throwing is a game associated with Easter. The egg was a symbol of the rebirth of the earth in Pagan celebrations of spring and was adopted by early Christians as a symbol of the rebirth of the man at Easter.
