Valencia, Sep 19 (IANS) Ahead of their fifth round La Liga clash against Deportivo Alaves football club on Thursday, Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour returned to group training on Monday.
This was their first session after Sunday's 1-2 defeat against Athletic Bilbao in San Mames, reports Efe.
The Tunisian international was out for two weeks due to a strained muscle in his right leg that he sustained during his national team game against Liberia.
For Thursday's encounter, Valencia coach Pako Ayestaran may depend on Enzo Perez, but he will miss the efforts of injured Mathew Ryan and Ezequiel Garay.
The squad will rest on Tuesday and return to workouts on Wednesday in preparation for the clash against Deporto, as the team will be looking for their first victory in the league this season.
