An open letter to Andhra Pradesh football association

Our AP state football players are losing out to other counterparts. Our state is not able to participate in all age group nationals including Santhosh trophy. The reason being the ongoing tussle between two groups for gaining control of AP football association in courts.

This has been going on for the last six to seven years.The apex body also looks helpless as they say until all the court cases in AP and Delhi are withdrawn ,they may not be interfering in AP football affairs.

Now my request is how to start from zero. Can a court order be issued restraining both the parties from interfering in the affairs of football and a third body be formed at the behest of AIFF to get the football activity going on.

The footballing activity comprises of -

1. Forming an APFA body recognised by AIFF.

2. Sending teams to participate in all age group nationals thereby giving an opportunity to showcase their talent.

3. Organizing League in all districts.

4. Organizing Premier league on the bengal style, as there are many corporates in Hyderabad who are interested to invest, but because of the APFA, nobody is coming forward.

5. Reviving Nizam Gold Cup,Visakha Trophy tournaments.

6. Construction of an Exclusive stadium for football matches similar to Ambedkar stadium Delhi. In Hyderabad there is only one Gymkhana ground in Secunderabad, which mainly caters to the footballing fans as the ground is centrally placed.

In AP there are two cities which mainly follows football- Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. There are many talented players from these regions who are being deprived of their basic rights to play football.

In Hyderabad there were lot of departmental football teams which closed their door for recruiting football players as there is no /nil football activity.There is one club by name Hyderabad Globe which has recently won four All India Tournaments. They have defeated some big names teams like JCT academy. We need to encourage such teams to go on to professionalism.
