All of us, as individuals, always want to affiliate pride with a sportsperson but fail to endow explicit significance to it.
Everyone commends sports as an institution that teaches hard work, sparks the urge to not to give up and helps to discipline one’s temperament; everyone celebrates the success of his team, argues about his favorite player and shares Facebook statuses about Ronaldo vs. Messi, or rivalries about their favourite sportspeople.
People understand sports very well, but we just need to help them to gain the courage needed to take up the challenge to carry sports to greater heights in the country.
Prakrida envisions providing each sportsperson the deserved platform of admiration and recognition he or she is entitled to. Prakrida, which means “place for sports” in Sanskrit, is what exactly sportspersons are being deprived of in our country.
Prakrida organizes tournaments and sports meets in different cities across the country, providing the best teams in each city the opportunity to compete against each other and challenge themselves to emerge winners by organizing national level meets.
Prakrida, in association with Oysters Beach, will be organising a 5-a-side football tournament, where each participant will be given the opportunity to participate in water rides for free and many other exciting gifts.
