Bill Hatter president of Canada National Darts Federation (CNDF) has been appointed as the new president of World Darts Federation (WDF), governing body of the darts sports.

Bill has been actively involved in dart administration since 1986. He began serving as the President of the CNDF since 2007, with the goal of getting darts recognized by Sport Canada.

Bill will replace the outgoing president Roy Price of Norway. Roy will be serving in WDF as the Tournament Director.

Other members of WDF executive committee are Kelvin James (Australia, Vice President), Buddy Bartoletta (USA, Vice President), Olly Croft OBE (UK, Chief Technical Advisor), Dave Alderman (Wales, Secretary General), Sabine Shanahan (Germany, Finance Director), Taina Nurmela (Finland, Sports Administrator) and Roy Price (Norway, Tournament Director).

World Darts Federation has national federations in 68 countries including 3 in South Asia. India, Nepal and Pakistan have active darts federations affiliated with World Darts Federation.

Bill will lead the World Darts Federation until 2015.
