Chelsea look to Christ to solve defensive problems

Chelsea have snapped up 15 year-old Danish youth international Andreas Christensen on a free transfer from Bromby. The 6ft defender, who has been tracked by several of the top European clubs, has decided to join Chelsea because they play the kind of football he like’s.

Like Kevin de Bruyne, the Dane will join at the club at the end of the season and much is expected of the player, who has already been capped at the U/17 level for his country. Good to see Chelsea investing in youth, just as long as they play them in the future! I foresee Christensen playing in the youth or reserve team next season, followed by a year-long loan to Vitesse in two seasons time. In three years, he could be ready!
