#4 Anish - Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol
As 15-year-old Anish clinched the gold medal in the Men's 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event, he created history by becoming the youngest ever Indian to clinch a gold medal in the history of the competition.
Battling with nerves of steel, Anish finished third in Stage 1 of the qualifiers with a score of 286 while his 294-point effort in the second stage saw him qualify as the leader of the pack going into the finals.
In the finals, Anish scored four sets of 5 and finished with a total of 30 from a maximum of 40 to clinch the gold medal ahead of Australia's Sergei Evglevski and England's Sam Gowin.
Anish's effort in the finals also put his name in the record books as his finals effort smashed the previous mark of 23 set by Australia's David Chapman in 2014.
