Hey guys! It’s another day of rumours and shenanigans in the transfer market. What I find the most surprising in today’s transfer rumours is the fact that some papers are potentially calling the Sneijder deal off.
So enough of introductions, let’s get straight into it!
Sneijder Deal is Off
It’s the transfer deal that is keeping everyone on their toes (the Fabregas and Nasri deals are simply getting boring for me). Whether it be papers declaring the deal a done deal or whether they talk about his wage packet being a huge stumbling block, this transfer saga has had many twists and turns.
And today it looks like his transfer has already hit a dead end. The Daily Mail claims that the Red Devils have thrown in the towel because they’ve been tired of negotiating with the Dutchman’s wage demands. What he is demanding is thought to be around £200,000-a-week. According to the paper, Sneijder is set to be ‘stuck’ with Inter Milan now.
One does have to wonder whether he would actually be happy at Inter though, he has in fact come out saying that he would be happy to stay with Inter despite him declaring that he himself had been on sale on various occasions.
Your Arsenal Nonsense Here
Yesterday there was some sort of report claiming that Arsenal were set to use the Fabregas and Nasri money to fund a move for Hugo Rodallega (yes, I know, time to panic). But at least today brings some better news to the Gunners. So here’s what The Independent has to say:
Jadson (right), a tough, compact, 27-year-old attacking midfielder, revealed his capacity for goals in this summer’s Copa America, though his arrival from Shakhtar Donetsk as a replacement for Fabregas – who is likely to follow Nasri out of the Emirates next week – will do little to lift the spirits of Arsenal supporters.
The Independent
Now I have to ask you Arsenal fans, who would you prefer, Rodallega or Jadson. One has to wonder. But at least The Daily Mirror are clinging on to the hope that Arsenal are actually going to sign some decent players this summer. They say the usual suspects, Juan Mata, and Phil Jagielka, Gary Cahill, Scott Dann and Per Mertesacker might just move to The Emirates sometime in the next few weeks.
Chelsea might just sign Modric
Well, so today offers a lot of ‘glimmers of hope’. Here’s what The Daily Mail has to say:
Spurs will move for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder William, if they lose Luka Modric to Chelsea

One would think that Tottenham are set to sell Modric sometime in the next century.
Liverpool set to lose out on Scott Dann
So here’s a rumour from the online blogosphere.
Arsene Wenger is hoping to finally bring a new centre-back to the club after entering into negotiations with Birmingham City over the potential transfer of Scott Dann.

But then again, we have to remember that it’s Arsene Wenger we’re talking about.
Although Liverpool fans can be encouraged by the fact that according to some sources, Liverpool are set to step up their chase for Bolton defender Gary Cahill.
