We do not know if it was a mistake or if it was part of the original commercial itself, but it surely was very hilarious. Djokovic was shocked by the hit and Sharapova nearly died laughing after the incident. The whole thing was very funny.

Each and every happening inside Olympic village gets updated. Among all the Athletes, the Tennis players are the most followed in the Olympics. 10 among the Top 16 Men’s tennis players and 9 among the top 16 Women’s players are on Twitter.
Among the men, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has more than 1.1 Million followers whereas, Serena Williams has more than 2.9 Million followers.
Federer aiming for 2016 Olympic Games – Roger Federer, the 17 time Grandslam Champion and reigning doubles gold medalist is aiming for gold in London. At a recent press conference, Federer commented that he will play at the 2016 games in Brazil if his body holds.
He commented “They also have a role in this decision-making but the mind still wants me to play, and I hope the body allows me to do it as well.”
Tennis Flag Bearers in London – Tennis had around eight official flag bearers in the London Olympic Games. This is the highest from any Olympic sporting discipline. Last time in Beijing, only two tennis players had the honor of carrying the flag.
The official flag bearers are Stanislas Wawrinka (Switzerland), Maria Sharapova (Russia), Novak Djokovic (Serbia), Agnieszka Radwanska (Poland), Horia Tecau(Romania), Marcos Baghdatis(Cyprus), Max Mirnyi(Belarus) and Stephanie Vogt (Liechtenstein) carried the flags of their countries in the Opening Ceremony.
Current French Open Champion Maria Sharapova commented that she thought that the flag would be heavier.
“It took me some time to understand the significance of the moment,” Sharapova told. “I gave the flag away on the exit from stadium, got in the car and kept thinking: ‘What just happened?’ I should’ve been focusing on the upcoming match, but I just couldn’t.”
“By the way, I never thought the flag would be so light. Before the Games I even wanted to buff up my hands so that I wouldn’t drop it,” she added.
That is it for this week. Let us come back with more Tennis tidbits once again next Tuesday.
