Crystal Palace manager, Ian Holloway has dropped a big hint that star winger, Wilfried Zaha, is on the verge of a Manchester United move.
The 20 year old’s amazing performances over the last couple of seasons have resulted in the world’s top clubs like Arsenal and Tottenham chasing him for his signature, along with Manchester United.
But Sir Alex Ferguson seems to have outbid the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal with a £12 million package. The package is a £8 million bid plus add-ons, and also returning Zaha back to Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season, as well as further player loans to Palace to revamp their team.
Holloway talked about Zaha’s future on the Footballer’s Football Show on Sky Sports 1, and insisted that he wants him around to help with Palace’s Championship advancement.
Sky Sports presenter, David Jones asked Holloway: “So what’s the plan for him (Zaha) then? You get a big fee for him and get him back (on loan)?”
“You didn’t have to be a genius to work that one out did you?“, Holloway replied with a smile.
Zaha is set to play against Stoke in the FA Cup third round this weekend.
